Does it make increase HP over the base model?

If I remember correctly it has about a 10 HP gain over the LE model.

Not exactly sure which component gives the SE that gain.

I think the new Camry looks good with the under spoiler. I would've probably got a V6 Camry SE last year when I got my car. They had too many issues going on though. Lost faith in them. Opted for a Acura TL instead :p

There goes Alpha Snake again. Show off...lol.
Look at that paint. SHINY!!!

You're right. Base Camry has 169hp. SE model has 179hp.

Ehh I'm not too worried about Toyota quality. They are the definition of long lasting.

My dad is in sales and drives an enormous amount. He has put 250,000+ on 3 different camrys. My uncle put 300,000 on a Toyota truck. I forget which model.

I wanted a car that would last a long time with minimal maintenance.

I also like the fact that it came standard with synthetic oil. It is recommended that I only get an oil change every 10,000 miles.

All good things come to an end as I've sold my Evo for something more practical:

Ford Falcon XR8 ute which I'll be using to get my downhill bike, motorbike and track car around. :)

Here is a pic of my new ride that I picked up mid last week. This pic is from the second night with it. Since then I have gotten the windows tinted. Will be looking at lowering it next...Here is a cell phone pic. Wish I had more.

Sweet, another FB! I really need to get some new pictures of mine, the only ones I have are over three years old.

Hell yeah!

Bad news about my FB: suffered a huge blowout on the interstate Sunday night; driver's side quarter panel was bashed to hell and back by all the tread flying off. Body shop time. Can't wait to pay that deductible. Ugh.

That's what I had back in 2003!!! I bought it brand new (without the bodykit though...I had it blue). The 2003 version was the first year with the updated front fasica. I will always love this Celica. I remember I had this car plastered on my notebook in 2000...lol. It's so rare to see this version. The car was discontinued in '06 :(

I was gonna mod this car with a TRD exhaust too. I was gonna get a Veilside bodykit, TRD exhaust, TRD bodykit, TRD supercharger, custom carbon fiber hood (for the supercharger) and black 18" rims. Oh...the memories.
Awesome! I <3 my Celica. Good looks and great gas mileage for a reasonable price.

Mine actually came with a TRD front bumper but the first owner messed up so bad I decided to replace it with the updated facelift bumper and shave the Toyota logo and add the aftermarket lip. I'm buying coilovers and putting rims on it as well, I'll go either with black or hyper black for the color.

Haha, thank you. I'm a little obsessive compulsive with keeping the car clean, and I had just cleaned it the day I took that picture.

Congrats! :) I quite like the Fusion, and wish that Sync was available in non-Ford cars. The voice recognition software in my GC is okay, but they're a good bit behind Ford/MS.

Also digging on that ute. That thing must be a hoot to drive, especially after a rain. :)

Got this 2011 Camaro SS back in April. One month and a little over 1k miles later, and I've still got a shit eating grin on my face every time I get behind the wheel.

426HP of American Muscle goodness... yum.

I have been toying with the idea of a e46 m3.

not sure if I want to have car payments again.

Im about to end my payments... six looong years. Its a really nice car, they can be had for pretty affordable prices nowadays. Modded the E46 M3 looks better then a modded E92 M3 imho and is ALOT cheaper :)

Nice. As someone who had a 2005 XR8 and got into a 2010 XR6 Turbo - my suggestion is to not take the amazing V8 sound and throttle response for granted. The XR8 made me cream everytime I gave it a bootfull - my XR6T not so much.

Also not sure how old the car is, or previous owner etc - but keep an eye on your rear diff bushes. I had massive issues with them in my XR8 - cost me a lot of money to fix them and the related issues.

I finally got some decent pics. 2011 STI.

This car is making me happy. All I want to do it drive and when I am behind the wheel, my problems seem small.

Those clean FB's motivated me to post my 80's goodness, my last "fun" car:

1985 Celica Supra, with 1JZGTE from a JDM Soarer. Aside from custom motor mounts and wiring, installation was not complex. Was able to use off-the-shelf bellhousing, etc.

Sold it in 2008 to another Celicasupra.com member, who then sold it to a Supramania.com dude.

Yes I miss it...

How does it compare to the 350z? I'm still not 100% sold on the looks of the 370 but its a hell of a car none the less.

Tempted to get an audi tts but not sure I can justify the expense since I would drive it once a week if I'm lucky...

Haha I'm 20! Parents paid for half and other half was from my own savings.

good stuff. the funny part is, with the $50,000 or so that you and your parents spent, you could have each bought a nice BMW or something lol

But I'd rather have a single GTR than 2 BMWs

awesome car. have loved 'em ma60 supra's for a long ass time. supposed to be 86's big bro, but never got anywhere near the love.

Thanks! There are probably 50+ JZ-swapped MA60's in the US by now (I keep a list over at CelicaSupra.com).

It was a no traction-havin' machine!

How did you modify the headlights?

If I remember correctly, he opened them up and blacked out the chrome in the headlight housing.

Nice to see pics of the STI. :) Some really sick cars in here - STI, GT-R, a really clean S14... I gotta say that Bulk_Rate's bananas '85 Supra takes it for me, tho' - that thing must have been craaaaazy to drive.

Are you allowed to show off your previous car that you had to sell for various reasons?

I think that must be okay... I have a pretty nice one that I'd like to show off so...

Has been driven by Tezuka, one of the Japanese D1 drivers - I told him to try and break it (the engine) - like he did to every other car in Australia. When he got out of the car he said "Best Australian Car I have driven, I could not break it".

It blows it out of the water in almost every way. I also had a TTS for a day from my Audi dealer, and while a nice car, it's not terribly quick (despite feeling like it is), and it's too expensive. The 370Z is easily the car to get.

Stick em in an oven for about 10 minutes until the sealant loosens up and you can pray the lens off the housing. Remove everything, prep, then pain. Though I did not risk doing the work - I paid someone to do it.

That's awesome.

20 years old + Supercar = Sorry about your loss, Mom and Dad.

Edit: Seriously, drive carefully. If there's one thing I remember about being 20 it's thinking that I was a very good driver when I most certainly was not.

I wish I had the money to buy a manual car. I have a TC 2009 special edition which is fun to drive and has been pretty good to me so far.

Very nice. I have an A4 loaner car right now, it's amazing how much more refined it has gotten over my girlfriend's B7 A4. This one has the 8-speed AT, as well. Though the laggy throttle is extremely annoying, though. My GF plans on getting an A5 next month.

Do you plan on getting APR or Stassis done to your car? Makes a massive difference in performance.
