No thanks!

I said Bloody Mary last week and havent slept since.

also, I rarely watch myself in the mirror.

only mirror i have is a bathroom one.

Pretty much this, but I was told about the movie years ago.

You have to say it 3 times though right? It's like beuitlejuice or candy man you wuss.

Every time I see a mirror in the dark I start thinking it, so paranoid creature that I am I either turn on the light or flee.

Also, maybe it's connected to this thing, which I don't know if has a technical term, that when it's pretty dark in a room you can kind of push the details you are able to see into the darkness so you don't see them anymore even with your eyes open.

Didn't see much, my eyes sorta looked black and soulless after about 30 seconds in. It did feel like someone was watching me, I got outta there quick, boys.

Reminds me too much of that Mirrors movie.

My mouth was agape at what happened in this scene

Probably the worst most horrible thing a ghost has ever done

Lol that should totally be the premise of the next Doctor Who spooky episode. It would be a really fitting theme! Moffat would be all over it.

"Do you know what happens when you look at yourself in the mirror for too long?"
"Yeah. My face starts to change in all those weird ways."
"Except it's not your face anymore..."

You should try looking at yourself in a mirror after using magic mushrooms. You suddenly look like a complete stranger to yourself, like you suddenly realize you look completely different to what you've always known. It's very eerie. Almost grotesque in a way. Even the way your face moves doesn't seem to quite match up with what you're doing. The strange thing was that I never really got that while looking at friends' faces, back when I still did that stuff.

I saw myself as an alien.

Something between a "Grey" and a human. My eyes were huge as in manga/Anime xD mouth was just a slit and my head was not in a human shape at all xD

Kinda scary, yet funny. Will try it out at night.

It happens because your brain cannot fully process [periferal] visual imagery and starts filling in the blanks itself. And as we all know, the brain is as powerful as it is bizarre.

Lol, I can't keep my eyes on the cross because my attentiveness/sense of vision is too sensitive to any kind of movement.

Just tried it. Pretty cool!

It's also the first time being near-sighted actually improved anything.

I just took off my glasses, lost focus immediately, et voilĂ : instant nightmare fuel!

This thread reminded me of the old Ghostbusters comics, there was one where a woman was looking into a mirror and the face morphed into some horrible fucking thing. I was scared to look too long in mirrors for years :lol

I've never seen anything when doing this. I often take hot showers with only very very dim light. Not ever seen anything in the mirror, besides a very dim reflection of myself.

I've done this a lot. My face (and body as a whole) just kind of becomes part of the environment. It's a really weird, detached feeling. I don't recall seeing anything particularly weird, but I remember being creeped out by how much the body in the mirror looked like an empty vessel.

All I noticed were that my nose seems to get longer, and my eyes would change position.

Pretty cool.

Usually just notice my face just go into the darkness though.

My brother told me that he hated looking in a mirror while shrooming because it made him feel guilty about doing it.

This reminds me of the old rule about taking acid and keeping your head down when passing a mirror or just making sure you don't start staring into a mirror.

As a kid I had photos of family along the wall of my bedroom. Every morning I would see everyone's face warp in my dim room.

Your brain's pretty good at filling in for your eyes' blind spots, but if you stare at a static image long enough it'll decompensate.

Just like the old trick the can make someone's head disappear.

The difference is that you are now getting a closer look at your face and some of your facial features are in that blind spot. Your brain fills in the gap with interesting results.
