The time is right to bring back Dino Crisis

The stuff of dreams man. A faithful remake of DC1 with gorgeously reproduced environments would be amazing. A DC2 remake, I wonder if it'd end up with a modern twin stick shooter controls, possibly amazing. And a real DC3 back with Regina could have so many possibilities. Could be a modern slow paced survival horror like Evil Within, or complete action with RE6's super mobile combat, or even budget episodic like Revelations 2. I'd take any one.

Would love a DC game.

Was actually thinking about a dino survival horror type game made by Creative Assembly in the same style as Alien Isolation.
Main character accidentally hurts a T-rex baby, mother(unkillable) gets pissed and starts hunting you down, having to avoid and outmaneuver the T-rex while you also have to deal with Raptors and other actual killable dino's trying to get you.

For those who missed it we at least have a slight look at what a new DC game would look like.

With Jurassic World's gargantuan success, I was wondering when this thread would pop up.

I couldn't agree more. Jurassic World shows that the public will still buy into dinosaur scares/action, and Capcom is now seeing the fruits of reintroducing their popular 90's titles to an eager consumer base.

So: hell yes - bring it back! A modified version of the RE6 engine is fucking perfect for this type of game.

I haven't beaten either of the two dino crisis games yet, but I prefer 2 by quite a bit (despite my undying love for Mikami). The dinosaurs are scary in the first game, but 2 is just so snappy and fun and I like the lush pre-rendered backgrounds a lot better than the kind of sterile environments of the first game.

For a new Dino Crisis I would gladly accept either a high-octane action version, or pants shitting horror version. though

I think I would enjoy it more if it had over the shoulder camera, but it was fun to play on my PS1 even though the character played like a tank.
