It happens with every podcast eventually... the hosts move on to bigger things. The hard part is finding new podcasts to fill the void.
Another podcast I'm not sure will last much longer is the /filmcast, dave works for microsoft now, devindra works for a major tech blog and adam is starting to get his footing too. They've already scaled back the show, cutting out the afterdark segment effectively making it half as much content per week. it's only a matter of time before it's bye-bye
It's still amazing when you think about how much time and effort a lot of these people put into these shows when the compensation is probably quite small.
I quite like Film Sack. It's up to 140 episodes now. They do the same format for each show, a fairly lighthearted & sometimes very funny discussion about a movie they all watched on Netflix that week, from genre classics to more obscure stuff. Every so often they do a commentary episode to listen along with as you watch the movie yourself.
