The Transistor dynamic theme (PS4) is pretty darn awesome

Something about dashboard music just annoys me. Even when it's enjoyable music I start to find it grating pretty quickly. It's odd. Nice theme tho, I need to get off the basic one soon.

I am not 100% sure, but I thought I saw the option somewhere to disable theme sounds, which I assume would include bg music.
As I said not 100% on this, but I feel like I saw it at some point.

There is an option, I usually turn it off. Just waiting for the right bg track to come along so I don't have to do that.

omg so getting this! could you guys imagine if supergiant released a Bastion theme that would narrate what ps4 function you were doing?

Dynamic Themes are annoying because of the slowdown in the OS at startup and everytime you access the home menu. This is the best theme they have, but regardless of quality, the performance hits are a no go for me (and thats on Sony)

Looks great, but I was quite irritated when I saw this on the store for sale, knowing that I paid $20 bucks for the game and I dont get the theme free. Yeah I get they didnt have themes then, and the game is free right now... blah blah just kind of annoying. As much as I love the game, i think ill stick with Grim Fandango theme

I was hoping this would get its own thread. I really wish they'd let us preview themes before buying them. I'm so buying it now though. I loved the game and its soundtrack. Now I don't have to go to the game's overview and pretend I have a cool theme lol.

why would you assume you get the theme for free, even if they did exist when the game launched?

man, i'm, pissed. why didn't i get a free evil within t-shirt when i bought the game for 60 dollars? i'm just annoyed

Bought it, because I can do worse things with $2.99. God damn this theme is incredible. Have it on my primary NA account, and with the PS 20th Anniversary theme on my JPN account.

I have never wanted a dynamic theme more in my life. This is really cool. And I love Transistor so that's a plus.

... its a digital theme, not a physical good. And not to mention when you buy a digital a game, if there is a theme available, youll generally get it for free. In January alone, Resident Evil HD and Grim Fandango Remastered both had free themes included with digital copies of the games. So I guess im just an entitled baby.

delicious looking. Loved the game, loving the theme, 2.99 is not breaking pockets but, seriously why charge this, should come free with those who've purchased the game(only verification is with digital I guess).

When can users get their hands on creating their own themes, PS3 had a great community for it

LOL $2.99

Fuck that.
Hey guys, I know artwork had to be made, programming had to happen, and people were paid to make this, but LOL who cares I deserve everything for free so screw this!

That's how I read posts like these. It's like people who get mad because they torrented a movie and it has hard-coded subtitles or something, when they could have gone down the street to a Redbox, used Netflix, or rented said movie on any number of services.
