Wow, I didn't even look into this game until I heard some hype, checked out this thread, and then tried the demo. WOW...this is amazing and addicting! Just splurged and bought it.

My gamertag is GeeDuhb, so feel free to add me. I will be making tracks, and look forward to playing yours, as well as trying to beat your times!

It doesn't look like anyone on my friends list has bought the game yet, so looking forward to adding some of you!
 
god you have no idea how many tries I wasted so far on the 2 ramps in Inferno. I got the technique down of half throttling so I can pick up some momentum on the first ramp, but I can never stick to the second. I hit the ramp, fall down. Always, without fault.
I get up to that bit in 5 minutes or so and then waste the rest of the half hour solely on that part. It's insanity.

I'm stuck at the same place :lol
I've managed to stick to the second ramp a few times, and even jump from it, but later you have to land in a platform and you have to go off the ramp with enough speed, which has been impossible so far.
 
I've just got Inferno II to go(not tried it yet), but for some reason i'm finding it really hard to get Gold's on the Medium tracks.
 
So I'd been traipsing along, getting golds in every level before moving to the next--when lo and behold, I hit the later levels of the Hard tier. Holy Jesus.

Needless to say, I had to set aside my own personal goal of getting a gold in every course before moving on. This game gets silly tough. Had close to 400 faults on the first Extreme course. Haven't tried the last three yet.

Managed to get golds on every track through the first two on Hard, but I don't see myself getting any more than that. Time to work on the Tournaments and Skill games.
 
Finally got to put some real time in on this monstrosity of a game. For me, it's the most addicting game I can remember. I sat down to play a few tracks before bed, and I just stopped now, 7 hours later. My hand was killing me, and my Elite started making a weird noise so I stopped. Weird thing is, I wasn't tired until I got up from the chair.....just didn't notice I guess. This stomps GeoWars2 in terms of not being able to put the game down and trying one more time. I wasted so much time on the Hill Climb skill game that I barely had time to work on getting golds. Holy shit that is fun.

Inferno II is brutal. It's not even fun - just sheer punishment. I managed it too last night with similar stats, but I won't be trying it again any time soon!

I'm still in awe at the quality and addictiveness of this game. I just can't stop having one more go, and then oops, 2 or 3 hours have gone by.
 
No way can I by this game after playing the demo. It would end up costing me at least $55 as I am sure my controller would be in pieces before long, it almost met the floor playing the demo
 
Buckled and bought it. And addicted all over again. Have a few friends on live who have it, but told me what I needed to know. I'm rubbish at this game. Still love it though.

Thanks for all the adds! I had zero competition before, and having someone else's specific score to beat helps tremendously with the fun of this game. Check my Container Rush time, hehe.

I haven't unlocked platinum yet, but I'm curious on what times you need to get it on the beginner/easy levels (where I'm actually half-decent)?

Edit: Also, MMaRsu, I may send you a fr to check out your levels.
 
I didn't realise my times were so high till I added a few more people on my list. Although one guy here gonush99 or something (sorry, cant remember it off the top of my head) has some amazing times on the later levels.

If anyone wants some high scores to beat, feel free to add me, Gamertag is in my profile, but please send a message as well to say you're from Gaf, otherwise freidns request wont be added. I'll warn you though, some earlier tracks I have times for Platinum medals. Cheers.

It tells you on the right side what time you need. I only have platinum on one level - Let's Get Physical.
 
Yeah my new map should be up tonight.. don't know when exactly but I still have some stuff to do.

It's called Dreamscape II and it's in the same veign as Dreamscape from the normal levels.

Not as good ofcourse becuase Dreamscape is one of the best tracks in the game. It's more like an homage I guess :lol . Easier to make than my previous two maps.

Well I'm stubborn, Ive been going for Gold on Hard... And its maddening lol.

I got frustrated with it and went back to the Easy / Beginner tracks trying for lower leaderboard times for now.. It makes the easiest of tracks much more difficult (and fun) as you find ways to shave off more time, And dangerously addicting.
 
Well without a doubt this is the best xbla game I have purchased this year, if not since the 360's release. I cannot remember the last time I had a game as addictive as this and I definitely didn't expect to put as many hours in as I already have and I'm still enjoying it. Best value for money game imo.

Yeah, I just unlocked it. And I only got one platinum as well. :lol My middle name: ranger and smooth jumps scores are bitter though: just 165 and 181 milliseconds above the requirement.

Like I posted earlier, they were counting about six months before the PC version of Trials 2 got 10.000 sales.

So you do the math ;).
 
Woooo. Inferno II beaten. 1326th on the leaderboard...

The angled planks section was definately the hardest. The pipes were quite difficult as well, I had 50 or so faults where I couldn't get anywhere near past the first one, then the first time I did, I managed the rest in one go.

So satisfying to cross the line at the end. Awesome game.
 
It saddens me that I watch other peoples replays and still having major trouble getting over this section of tires (Technique track / Hard)

Oh man you have no idea what happened last night to me on that area. I really wanted to destroy something. I was having fits. I was cursing the game developers if they ever tested this game for playability. You name it I said it. :lol Passed it after 12 minutes and 120+ tries. I'm stuck on the next level where you need to do some ridiculous climb past some boxes.
 
What the hell??? There're platimum medals??? Awww man!!!!! This game is mad fun. The top players make it look so easy and then you try it and it goes to hell.
 
wtf, can you not get custom levels from people outside of your friends list? what the shit is that?

am I just looking in the wrong place? if not, that's a pretty big fuckup imo.
