Apparently they played this on HOT97, a parody song of "We are the world" which exhibits some pretty racist and otherwise insensitive undertones. A lot of my asian friends are pretty upset about it and have been writing in to various news organizations and advertisers for the station in order to get the word out. Here are most of the lyrics:

"..All at once you could hear the screaming ch*nks and no one was safe from the wave there were africans drowning, little chinamen swept away you could hear god laughing, "swim you b*tches swim"

So now you're screwed, it's the Tsunami
you better run or kiss your ass away, go find your mommy
I just saw her float by, a tree went through her head
and now the children will be sold to child slavery..."

More info and an mp3 of the broadcast can be found here: http://www.hiphopmusic.com/

What do you guys think about it?
