The Walking Dead Season 2 SPOILERS Thread!

Mine said "Season 1 and 400 Days completed"

The watch is in the master bedroom where you can find bandages. By the way, in my second game (where I picked the opposite choices as my main playthrough) I found out you can find the bandages in two ways. One way is to go into the house and search the master bedroom, but you can also get bandages by knocking on a window and getting Alvin to get them for you. Pretty cool.

Also, the second method got Clementine some sweet apple juice to drink away her tears while stitching herself up. You drink that juice, girl.

Oh boy, I hope that's him. Loved that character in 400 Days.

EDIT:

Well, you actually do need to get there if you don't knock on the window to get Alvin's attention before you get into the house. It's where you can find bandages.

Wow, I had no idea you could get bandages another way.
-I can't tell if Sarah is just very naive or mentally handicapped. The way Carlos spoke of her made it sound like there's something more going on. I did the pinky swear because something tells me that Clem and Sarah are going to become more acquainted anyway.

Either she's real quirky, or has some sort of anterograde amnesia.

It would help contextualize her comments.

-"It's great to have someone the same age as me." (Clem was all, wtf are you talking about, you're older than me)
-She pinky-swears. (could be associated with younger children)
-Eagerness to be friends without knowing a person, especially in this now shit world.
-Talks about people who I have no idea who the fuck they were. The group never seemed to ever be too large, but she makes them sound like the girls from class she knows. We only really knew about the dead mom and the one survivor they brought in.
-Carlos is way over-protective of her seeing anything on the outside. Maybe he doesn't want to put her through the horror anew, daily.
-She seems to be oblivious to what's going on at all, but there's no way you could keep a secret like that for so long.

I honestly think it's the amnesia.

I honestly think it's the amnesia.

She says shes 15 though, I think she's just really sheltered, guess we'll have to wait and see.

Also I bet at some point you get a choice to teach her how to use a gun behind her fathers back. Whether shes naive or damaged will probably factor into how that choice pans out.

She was standing in a river. There's no shortage of water. Some people just like to play the game as though they're good people and not assholes, even to characters who are assholes. It's called being merciful.

I tend to play as 'the nice guy', but didn't give this guy water. I wanted to know where the fuck Christa was. :lol

Yeah the same thing happened to me, at first I thought it was weird because they didn't notice me but then Clem just walked through them :D

I HAD THAT TOO. Creepy as hell, especially the adult male just...lurking...in the girl's room.

I didn't know what to think until Clem clipped through him.

I originally thought it was Kenny's character model because the one guy is wearing the same black tee with long white shirt underneath and you couldn't see their head, but it turned out to be the guy who apologises for being a douche.

I think you're sticking too much to her line about their ages. The other people in their group are clearly adults and 15 is not that big of a difference from ~11.

Though her dad is certainly overprotective of her.

Old guy had a zombie scratch. He had to go. Clementine is badass. This game rules. And yeah, fuck that dog. I killed it just so I'd be responsible for its death. That bastard dog.

And because you get the choice to either burn the drawing of Kenny's family or Lee's picture. That's in there for a reason.

The fact they even put that as a choice is shocking. Makes me think that's going to be a plot element this later on. Where as people will say to Clem that she needs to forget about Lee and her past so she can take care of herself.

I really dunno what to do w/ Sarah. I don't want Clem to hurt her feelings, I don't want to start shit with her dad, and I don't want Sarah to die in the end.

Also you know what'd be awesome? If Carver turned out to be Nate.

Wow, I had no idea you could get bandages another way.

My first thought when I saw that the first floor is elevated was that I would be able to crawl under the house and enter through a trapdoor and voila, that was exactly what happened. Got the idea from MGS3 lol. I only interacted with Sarah, the bandages are in the desk of the room with the watch.
Sneaking around the house was actually pretty tense.

Did anyone actually burn the pictures? There was a friggin' log sitting right there lol.

Of course I didn't, I did the log. But the fact that they gave you that choice even though the obvious better is the log is fucked up.

I picked up the log and still burned the drawing because I thought the log would just smother the fire. You can't just add a full log that's not even split to a dying fire.

you're probably right about the log. But I had a feeling that I would need the drawing or the picture of Lee later on.

I absolutely loved that the "Oh shit!" line which can originally be said by Lee back on Hershel's farm in Season 1 made a reappearance ("Smells like...shit."). Clem says it right in the beginning when the bottle rolls into the toilet cubicle. At least, I presume that's what it was referencing. Can anyone disprove that?

I play with the subtitles on, and in both of my runs she said "oh shoot!", and I believe I used the "manure" line in S1. So it could be.

Vernon's dead, they say so in 400 Days.

No, they don't. When you're debating whether to kill the captured intruder, Joyce says they lost Brie, but they don't specifically say if Vernon died. Boyd blames their problems on Vernon and 'that damned boat' or something, but it's left vauge.

I think she is just really sheltered. She thinks Clementine is older because her mannerism and way of talking has matured quicker do to the circumstances. Eagerness to be friends with her is understandable because she has not seen anyone her own age for the last two years.

you're probably right about the log. But I had a feeling that I would need the drawing or the picture of Lee later on.

Wikipedia even says that trees use bark to survive forest fires >_> (though I did not know that when I made my decision)
You need to split the log open and try to make the splinters catch fire if you want to build fire (or use shitloads of kindling).

Maybe stupid just runs in her family.

Loved it, but the dog just pissed me off.

As soon as I saw it, I knew Telltale was going to kill the shit out of that dog as a cheap tearjerker. And ya they gave it a twist by making the dog suddenly turn rabid, but then still just HAD to end with it suffering and having to be put out of it misery rather than Clem killing it during the struggle with the knife.

I have never hit a QTE prompt as fast as I did for that one.

I have to wonder though: does that mean he was with the gang of people who ambushed Clem and Christa earlier? Maybe he was hunting Shel? If the gang that killed them is led by a survivor from season 1, my guess would be that it has to be Lilly. Kenny was a jerk too, but I don't think he's capable of coordinating mass slaughter. Lilly on the other hand...

Kenny was a family man, he had/has some amount of principles, at least. He wouldn't go down that path.

I think.

This "I thought you were dead" discussion of interesting. Clementine was not around when Kenny "died", and I am pretty certain Lee didn't tell her he did. Clementine had no reason to believe Lilly was dead, especially if she stole the RV instead of you leaving.

In fact, I can't think of anyone that is ambiguously alive or dead that Clem saw "die". I have reason to believe that it's Michelle, who I am gonna guess is Tavia's daughter, as a shot to the abdomen is not as fatal as being shot in the head or chest, and the scene cut before any actual confirmation.

There was at least a few months when Clem was with Omid and Christa, they would have told her.

Is it just me or did it seem like Christa doesn't want to be around Clem?

It's hard to say if she's acting weird because Omid and her baby are dead, or because she blames Clementine for not being responsible with her gun, leading to Omid being killed.

Do you think Christa and Omid wouldn't have eventually mentioned that Kenny was eaten by zombies? :P

Ah, yeah. Shit.

Still, I am still holding the opinion that Michelle is Tavia's daughter. The guy who posted about Eddie earlier in the friend is definitely right, and Tavia's commune is definitely coming into play.

Seems like she was blaming Clem, she didn't say anything but just looked at Clem when she saw the woman had her gun.
Maybe Clem had something to do with the baby as well,

I don't mind the QTEs, I really hate "unwinnable" QTE's - e.g. you get the "Q" prompt, but you can't actually fill the circle no matter what you do because its designed to be unwinnable.

Playing as Clem is not nearly as annoying as I envisioned because for some random reason she's strong enough to fight zombies now and the time skip was long enough for her to not have such a childish voice.

"You're alive!?" - my first thought was Kenny.

Aw geez, I just got the joke/reference of the dog being named Sam.

If I see a rabbit named Max, I ain't going near the thing. Furry devil'll rip my throat out.

I don't think the "Clem doesn't know Kenny is dead" reasoning works. I'm fairly certain, even assuming Clem never discussed Kenny's fate with either Omid or Christa, Clementine would put two and two together as to why Kenny isn't there anymore.

Ehh, that would've been boring in my opinion.

My $0,02 but could be looking into this way to much and its slightly meta...

The choice is in there because Clem, as a character, wants to distance herself from Lee due to the emotional baggage that is obviously there. Maybe, just maybe, it's Telltale telling us that the character has moved on much more than us players.

Wow. Really good episode already.

Also, why would anyone burn either one of the pictures/drawings, if you look around you find a log you can throw on the fire. Don't be burnin' dem precious memories!

Didn't pick up the watch too. What happens if you do?

Do we actually know what happened to the baby?

People seem to be assuming it's dead ... but that's not confirmed and there's a ton of things that coulda happened in that time. I mean, it's been 16months after all.

I burned the Kenny drawing because I never cared.

We don't know for sure but I can't imagine Christa, of all people, leaving it with someone. It might have been taken for some reason. :P But even then, I can't imagine her not doing everything in her power to get it back.

The baby is dead, the question is how.
I'm sure we'll find out at some point

sometimes Telltale is too on your face

the slow staring at the duck painting would have been much better with just a sad face instead of her actually saying "Duck.. :("

I got it before she said it and chuckled with empathy and then she said it and I was like "oh.. eh"

That's what she did with me, didn't even know she could say anything.
