I hope you and the others are doing you job as beta testers and REPORTING the bugs so they can be fixed.

I've reported numerous bugs. I'm pretty sure Icognito is aware of the crashes. It's all people talk about at the beta test boards. Thanks for the condescending reply, though.

I hope the bugs get worked out and it's just not a limitation of p2p. The GRAW games (especially the first one) freeze online all the time.

And Kev, it looks like your taking your system crash pretty well. I'd be absolutely livid right now if I were you.

If I had to go through Sony, I'd be pretty angry. Luckily I can just drop it off tomorrow at EB and be done with it.

Still, I wish I could narrow down what the potential problems are. Pretty sure it's not my TV. It's either the cable or the PS3, and it'd be an awful hassle to get a new PS3 and download all my shit again for the explicit purpose of replacing a faulty cable. :lol

I hate to derail the thread but is there a way I could test this HDMI port?

Without having another HDMI cable or another HDMI device, I can't seem to find anyway to narrow down the problem. :\

Probably been answered, but one of the easiest things to do would be to take it to a friend's house if they have an HDMI equipped TV. If it works on their it is your TV that is to blame. If not it is probably your PS3.

wow 2 seconds into the neogaf game i froze. >.< i think i may watch some seaon 7 of the x-files for a little while till more people get on.
Im at work all day, i tested and can host 32 players, not sure how bad i want too with all the server freezing...

I have a weird setup at home so it involves me rotating my PS3 to hit the switch off button :/ I'm actually glad that I didn't get into the Warhawk beta, those freezes would kill me inside.

I have finished games, today, yesterday and especially thursday, thursday i never froze.
If this were the final game, or there had not been any freezing reports, i would feel 100% confident in hosting a 32 player server without hesitation.

Well one theory going around is the 1.80 firmware messed some stuff up, which is causing the Warhawk freezes, and if it is the firmware causing it its entirely possible that it could effect Resistance and other online games.

Actually, thats a good point. I don't seem to recall EVER freezing on Resistance pre-1.80 FW. If it is indeed the case, I hope Sony looks at it. Anyone else frozen up since updating firmware?

I dont have DLNA enabled on my network, and havnt touched it on the PS3, but i suppose it could be something in the networking code causing a problem.

I don't have it enabled either. But yeah, like you said, it could still be something inherent to the networking code.

I haven't played Resistance since the patch, not sure if it affects that game or not. This is why FW updates suck. Fix one thing, screw up others.

I would assume if it really is the firmware update, which some have suggested stating that Warhawk pre 1.80 was rock solid stable, and is effecting multiple online games it should be easier to fix than if it were say something with just warhawk.
