I find it interesting how many people aren't impressed by the drop in / drop out online play.
It's amazing to have 3 of your friends come over and play and then work as a team online and slaughter the opposition.
and lol @ the "this game isn't very fun" trolls. Why even bother coming into the thread with the purpose of intentionally starting a debate (and then mentioning a game that they would like to plug for said hype in this thread).

oh man I totally agree that some things drive me nuts its super glitchy and some things need to be tweaked but...The game works really well and the fact that a lot of us are still playing it for hours on end despite having to completely reboot our systems is really saying something. The game is great fun and I think thats the hardest hurdle for developers all the tweaking will just make it better.

One thing I did notice tho is... where the **** is the aliasing in this game? It's incredibly clean and clear and you know how picky I am about aliasing issues. No fliker, no aliasing. It's like it's using some kind of magic 16xAA :lol

One of the reasons I enjoy it so much is you choose the pace you want you can be really strategic and slow by grabbing a sniper rifle a missle launcher and infiltrating / sabotaging enemy bases. You can jump in a Warhawk and be thrown into fire fights immediately. You can jump into a tank and pick your shots or provide cover for your teamates I mean you kind of get to choose the pacing you like.

I agree, this is one of the best multiplayer engines ever. It spanks the shit out of an BF game engine! No fog, no frame rate hickups, crazy dynamic lighting, good AA and AF. Good job Incognito!

Is the game 60 FPS? It plays smooth as silk.

I listened to that podcast someone posted before and it is a good idea to preload Warhawk with new PS3's they should sell the game on PSN to the early adaptors for $39.99 if you registered your PS3 before a certain time, $49.99 after that time and $59.99 on Blu-Ray with extras what do you guys think?

Two CTF and one Zone. Played awesome, had like 23 kills. Stuck to the ground for the most part. Our team actually did quite well without voice chat. (heh)
The game can be really really fun at times (even though my problems with ground combat still stand for the most part).
I'm having a lot more luck hosting and I'm starting to really learn how to play the new gametypes. I love Archipelago for CTF.

I'm listening to that 100mb podcast, and they are going in fine detail on the beta. Just got to the point to where he said he wasn't under beta but the person that gave it to him is. Whats the deal behind that. Can't they still get in trouble? They also are showing it on some webcam :/

the more i play the more i get into it. lots of different stratagy to be had all around. SLOW? what? this game plays fast man. you can even cover good ground on foot. the tank is way faster than i though it would be. jeep is a speed demon

They should pre-load the PS3 with GOOD demos, such as maybe a 5 minute-at-a-time demo of CaC, a little Warhawk, some Ninja Gaiden, whatever. My bets are on $30 PSN, $60 Blu-Ray w/ headset.

I was kicking some ass in a ranked TDM game that was short on people, it was 4 on 1 and i was close to matching kills. Which points out one of 2 things... the other people were horrible, or indeed the warhawk is much too weak against players on foot
