Yeah, their starts are incredible, but they really bounce around on the bottom half of the track.

Me too. I thought I was the only one. Just like I was glad Ter Mors won instead of Wust last sunday.
I read a piece on NBC saying exactly that. I don't know where they got that but they might want to double check their stories. Shit, you'd be lucky to be able to skate for more than a day per year on natural ice and even then the thought of commuting that way is ridicilous.

Welp, I guess I shouldn't have gone to bed so early. So glad Svendsen is back. Looking great for our mixed relay. All 4 have won medals so far. Also great to see our nordic combined guys grab so medals too. Not a fan of nordic combined, but I'm a big fan of Olympic medals!

K it isn't the makeup for Meryl Davis. Seeing her during the medal ceremony I think it is something else. Still a bit strange. I sound like a jagoff but something about her is really distracting.
Probably leading in 4th place finishes too.

Wait a second. Another US female bobsledder (Lauryn Williams) has competed as a sprinter in the Summer Olympics, won a gold medal, and is in place to win gold here (hasn't only like one other person, Clara Hughes (CAN), medaled in both?) and all we are hearing about is Lolo Jones? Jesus.

Lolo Jones is out of medal contention right now as well. Why did the sprinters get signed on to the bobsled team? Don't follow the sport at all but is this a common occurrence?
