This is not an ad for the Nintendo 3DS.

Saw this earlier today. Genius move on Nintendo's part. It's scary how unlike them it seems (women in bikinis in a Nintendo advert?) but it's almost scary how much I love it. This is on Kevin Butler-levels of awesome.

Totally agree. I doubt it will happen but if they made some TV ads with McHale, the Butler promos would have a real run for their money. Hey NOA marketing, if any of you are reading this, how about some TV spots next year for Wii U featuring McHale?

Hahahah this actually got a good laugh out of me, more specifically when he got up in his face about Pearl Pink.

Really weird seeing this after watching The Greatest Movie Ever Sold last night.

Still kind of amusing, though a bit too long.

I would really like a series of McHale Nintendo commercials, I love him.

Soup FTW, only reason I started watching Community when it started was because I knew he was in it..... turns out it becomes one of the funniest shows in forever also. Go figure.

I think Nintendo could do some good shit with him.

Once again, Nintendo gets a c-list celebrity to do something everyone has already done 5 years after everyone did it and looks absolutely stupid in the process. And they wonder why nobody in the industry takes them seriously.

I thought it was pretty "okay". I didn't crack a smile but I didn't have an urge to stop midway either unlike that Justin Bieber Christmas (also not a commercial) music video.

It wasn't Jeff Winger, though the humor could be Community-esque, just plain ol Douchey Joel Mchale

He called it a DS3 on his Twitter by accident at first

Really hilarious, though McHale is well on his way to being railroaded into always playing the same character. Not that I could picture him being anything else other than an out of touch arrogant dude.

I just realized the model in black is Amanda from Survivor.

Hah. Actually a pretty clever little ad. I'm glad Nintendo's actually starting to embrace outside talent to sell systems, rather than selling it entirely on the merit of main franchises.

Well Nintendo has been doing the Pop Culture thing for awhile. Remember their Play it Loud campaign from the mid 90s? It was in your face, telling kids they can do whatever they want, etc

I always thought the Who Are You campaign was pretty awesome too.
