Reminded myself of this thread in Zee_truly evils thread today.

Here's my bands debut release on CD/digital download. We've put our stuff up for free on our own homepage for a long time now, but wanted something to sell at gigs.

I did figure out the one shortcoming of Bandcamp- since it relies on the band to ship physical purchases, they can sometimes be crazy unreliable. I bought a CD on Record Store Day and it still hasn't arrived. :/ Still best for digital though.

Also I'm working on getting a job at their competition :x

Apparently this guy has made like 9 albums this year, and if they're anywhere near as good I might have to listen to all of them. So relaxing and yet ethereal.

Nice, didn't realise there was a bandcamp OT - anyone have a fan account there? Here's mine; https://bandcamp.com/bootaaay

Some recent finds I've enjoyed;

Latest album from All Them Witches, an excellent bluesy desert rock band from Nashville.

New EP from a local band I've seen a couple of times - really don't know how to describe their sound, sort-of alternative rock with funk and British hip hop elements.

Mellow acoustic Latin folk from Argentina, name your price.

Nice, this is great. Love this sort of relaxing electronic triphop stuff.

Hey y'all. I've got a few new songs, and figured this thread deserves a bump. If you're into some electronic/ambient stuff, check out my new WIP EP.

Mensae - Crown

There will probably be 6 tracks when it's all said and done; I still have to touch up a few things here and there, but want to put something out in the meantime.

Didn't know we had a Bandcamp thread! They are, by far, my favorite online music store.

Here's the latest release from raison d'être, a master of the dark ambient genre:

Mise en Abyme

If you like long, contemplative tracks, appreciate a bit of choir or noise, and don't mind being enveloped in a dark soundscape for an hour, then you should definitely check this out. His other work is very strong, particularly The Empty Hollow Unfolds and Requiem for Abandoned Souls.

I played "Katharos" for a couple of folks not too long ago - one of them called it "doomsday music," lol.

Ryan Hemsworth helped me find this amazing little gem on Bandcamp, it kind of sounds like Broken Social Scene if they were fronted by Elliot Smith

...Did I mention it's free too!

This might be a top ten album of the year for me guys:

It has these elements of psychedelic folk, black metal, and drone that are done so well and hits so many notes for me, simply incredible album. I'm gonna have to cop the vinyl when it drops.
