THQ is beyond saving, where would you want their IPs to end?

Darksiders and Vigil could go well at Warner Bros.

I also wouldn't be opposed to the Nintendo purchase and Retro merger idea, but the chances of that are like zero.

Though if it happened, and we got a Retro-made Darksiders 3, and a Darksiders character got into Smash, I would actually shit my pants.

Warhammer, WWE and Metro are not THQs IPs they just have the rights to develop games with that IP. If Games Workshop wanted to they can give the Warhammer rights to Silicon Knights.

Does EA have the sticks and stones Warhammer rights?

Yeah, for some reason they're still clinging to that. I don't know how Age of Reckoning is doing for them but they launched a F2P PvP game earlier this year so I guess they're keeping it for a while.

I just want to see Volition make an attempt at a next gen open world Red Faction, don't care who the publisher is. Their geo-mod engine does destruction so good and putting that in an open world environment is pure bliss, and not taking anything away from Guerrilla which was awesome but it's limitations were made painstakingly obvious.

I still want Saints Row with Geomod destruction. Saints Row 2 had so much destructible stuff, just imagining SR with Red Faction:G destruction was a dream.

After what a turd Darksiders 2 was, I don't care where it goes.
I REALLY want someone to make a new Red Faction game

I doubt any other publisher wants 40k. Why deal with Games Workshop's bullshit when every publisher has their own space marines? I mean, look at Alien and Starship Troopers. They ARE sci-fi, and the upcoming Alien game only looks okay. The one before that was awful, and no one cares about Starship to make a game.

All I know is that I want Relic to make more Homeworld, Dawn of War, Spacemarine and CoH-games under a stable publisher.

I have enjoyed many games from THQ, but I would see each franchise burn just to keep Relic in top form.

I will beg if it comes to it

Metro EA
Saints Row Activision
Darksiders Square-Enix
Warhammer 40,000 2K games
Homefrot Can it.
WWE Activision
Red Faction Warner Bros
Homeworld 2K Games
Company of Heroes Warner Bros.

Relic should go to a stable studio that lets them do their own thing, like Cd projekt or Valve.

Homefront could go to EA - Medal of Honor is struggling, and Homefront could be a good alternating series with Battlefield in its place, it has good marketable iconography. Plus isn't 2 at Crytek? They seem to be buddy with EA over the Crysis games.

In fact, keep Volition on board, but Red Faction to EA as well - Frostbite X GeoMod would be ace, and benefit RF as well as stuff like Battlefield.

I doubt their IPs get sold off. It would make more sense if Square Enix or Warner Bros buys out THQ and gets everything. I'd be kind of surprised if Vigil didn't get shutdown though. Which is too bad because I love Darksiders.

Is there any chance of Darksiders 2 on Wii U selling well and saving THQ? Console launch games usually sell well due to lack of options.

How do you figure? They'd get at least 3 really good studios plus a crapload of IPs

100+m$ of debt, that's why people have been speculating that interested buyers are waiting until they go bankrupt so they can get cheap IPs and/or studios when they're liquidated.

Do they really own Quest 64? That was by Imagineer/Rocket Company aka the Medabots folks, maybe they will take it back? Make a Wii U sequel and a remake for 3DS? Cool!

Add me to the Vigil/Darksiders to Nintendo and Retro group. At least as a another team, pump out more games, we need more than 2 a gen...
