Picked this up last night and have to agree, a let down for sure. Awesome show is brilliant and I've seen each season many times over, but this did very little for me.

I thought it would have a ton of the commercials ala Child Clown outlet, or premium prices/discount prices, but it didn't.

EXACTLY. The commercials (especially the Child Clown stuff) always had me rolling. sometimes to the point where my sides were hurting. This movie just didn't cut it on any level, except being utterly disgusting.
 
Why not have Channel 5 be in Swallow Valley and on tv's in the mall? Seems like they missed an opportunity here not using the skits from the show. There were some good scenes, but overall it did not have me in tears like the show always does.

Are you fans of them? If not, this won't change your mind. I've never seen their show, but I was dying from beginning to end with this.

Yeah, I applaud you for trying, but that's definitely the issue. That said, you at least need to make it to Shrim.

You guys watch Bedtime Stories? Pretty cool, but they're going too heavy on the 'goof & spoof' thing, as half of its basically Laurel & Hardy. I know that's the angle, but I was hoping for something a bit more "Zan" & Waitmate like. I want creepy Lynchy T&E back!
 
I'm very glad that most replies in here are positive. When the movie came out most seemed to not like it... or maybe that was just my impression.

Bed Time Stories was good but not great. Felt a little half-baked. Is it weekly?
 
Bed time stories was kind of flat, loved B$M though. All the same I still think they're at their best when working with short form/sketches.

Yep, they got picked up for a full run the same night it premiered.
They're also working on Check it Out! Season 3, according to Tim on Comedy Bang Bang this week.

BTS was alright, I'll be hoping for a little more out of the next episodes.

They've been quite busy since the movie. Tim and Eric's production company has been doing some of the best stuff out there, specifically The Eric Andre show, Comedy Bang Bang, and Nathan For You.

Yup, we have Bob Odenkirk to thank for the amazing influx of comedy over the past 5-10 years. Throw Birthday Boys and Hot Package in there with the others and you have a list of the funniest shows on television.

Finally! Another person that loves Hot Package. My favorite show currently on TV along with The Eric Andre show. Definitely up there in the pantheon with Tim and Eric and Check It Out.

Try to track down the Totally 4 Teens pilot if you never saw it, it could have been the greatest show if it got green lit by Adult Swim. They fuckin blew it.

I'm a huge fan of Derrick Beckles, he has a great and original sense of humor.
 
They should have called it Billion Dollar $ Movie.

Also, this movie wasn't very good, and I like Tim and Eric.

Never heard of him before this show but he's great. I love the interviews when they cut to him and he's staring at the guest with unbridled glee and he has that stupid, blank, happy look on his face. Makes me laugh every time.

You wont be disappointed. I'd love to know where they get some of the clips from. I imagine they must've bought out a 1990s video rental store that specialized in horror and porn.
