I don't hate Steam, but I do kind of get tired of the Unreal Engine issues.

I feel as though both Microsoft with Windows and Epic with Unreal have been coasting this generation on userbase alone. But have started to notice that they are pissing off that userbase in droves.
Like, one day they finally read the morning paper and it's full of all this other news that people are talking about.

Linux? Capcom? Electronics prices out of control? Maybe I should do something. I know, make a statement about how the other guys are stealing our userbase.

The funniest part with the free games initiative on EGS? It inadvertently served as an advertisement for the Steam versions. People would get the free games as demos on steroids and then, get those games on Steam.
