Where is he?!

How the fuck is Lion King that low? What the fuck are they smoking? No Aladdin or Beauty and the Beast means they're just trolling. No Nightmare Before Christmas either?

Shocking. Imdb actually wins.
Except there is no fucking way Toy Story 3 (or any of them) is the greatest animated movie of all time.

Cretin.

I'm not sure if I would list it as top 25 material as an entire package. If the list was specifically top 25 animated films with the best art and animation it'd be near the top though. That film is gorgeous.

The latest films always tend to rank higher on imdb. They usually go down in rating after a few years.

ITS A TOP 25 LIST I DO NOT AGREE WITH
I AM ANGRY

but yes, Wall-E is awesome. It's Pixar, duh.
No one would give a damn if it was just some stupid random blogger.

But friggin' Time Magazine? Happy Feet, really?

Akira doesn't belong in there, the movie completely messed up the manga's story, even though Otomo directed it.

I love Happy Feet

Where the Hell is Sword in the Stone?!

What the fuck, man!
Other than having some nice animation, Sword in the Stone is definitely in the bottom-tier of Disney classics.

Are there problems with the story itself beyond differences from the manga? Because comparing a movie to the work its based on does not a valid criticism make. It stands or falls on it's own merits.

Also, I want to throw my hat in on the questioning of the Dumbo placement. Its true, no one really likes Dumbo, and it was literally a cash grab from Disney. It's actually one of those Disney films I completely forget when I think about Disney films.

List is terribad. No Prince of Egypt? Princess Mononoke? Incredibles? Iron Giant? The Emperor's new Groove?

And what the hell is Pinocchio doing at No.1? Why is Happy Feet even on the list? What is Dumbo doing there? Why is South Park higher than Toy Story/3?

Really? You question Dumbo and Pinocchio yet you demand garbage like Emperor's New Groove on there?

The only ones I'd consider as good as Pinnochio and Dumbo are Princess Mononoke and maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe Prince of Egypt.

Dumbo is freaking heartbreaking and so is Pinocchio, both are also awesome horror stories for children. Cartoons are serious stuff brah.

List became a whole lot better once I realised I was reading it from bottom to top and not the other way around. Really hated fantastic Mr fox though. Should not be anyway near the top 25 IMO.

i watched kung fu panda once. never again.

how to train your dragon, however, was dreamworks's best film since the prince of egypt, easily.

It's solely based on Corliss' opinion so the list is not surprising as he is not exactly an animation kind of guy. I seem to recall that he doesn't like Brad Bird movies.

I don't have a problem with most of them just where they are listed.

UGH. Time screwed it up, now the list of top 25 animated films is put in stone and nothing can change their shitty selection.

At first I was like "well, it's not a perfect list, but it's pretty solid I guess....".

Then I saw Happy Feet. Fucking Happy Feet! List is utter garbage.
