Some of us don't like Souls games. Strange, I know. Opinions.
Some of us love them and realize Bloodborne is good but not great.

2 Wii U games and again media prefers Mario Maker over Splatoon.
Why does it seem like I can't stand it?just gotta love those that can't stand someone having a different opinion. Going to be fun to see how many people try to discredit writers if they dare not have Bloodborne on their lists or high up on their lists. I love the game as much as the next guy, but I don't need extra validation to tell me that.
So are people actually interested in what other people liked or they just looking for validation of what they liked?
Interested in Prune for sure.

We're on a forum. Forums are for thoughts and opinions addressed at thread subject. My thought is that Bloodborne is missing from the list posted in the thread's original post.
Their insight is far too low.Time needs more eyes
What's laughable isn't the games that didn't make it, quit the bloodborne or MGS5 whining, but some of the games they picked make you wonder what the fuck they were thinking
prune ? batman ? whatever those #4 and 7 are ? heh
Time needs more eyes
HeheheTheir insight is far too low.
That doesn't sound like a good reason as to why it's an intentional error.
No Corpse Party Blood Drive
No DanganRonpa: Ultra Despair Girls
No The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes
Splatoon at number 10, not at the very least top 4.
Tomb Raider is on PS4?
A Mobile game at number one. I know opinions, but bleh.
Boring AAA games.
And its November. Not January to give you enough to play all the games.
Yes, I will take very very seriously.
/S...sort've. I actually do believe all the above things but know opinions may differ. Still seems like a meh list but whatever.
I just looked up a video of Prune and it looks like artistic hipster crap. Do not like.
It would be missing because "Game of the Year" is a concept held differently by each individual, so by definition it will be missing titles depending on who reads it.How would it be missing if it's likely that it wasn't intended for inclusion in the first place?
Lists are dumb, especially when the year isn't over, but I'm really happy a major publication like Time is talking about a game like Undertale.
mgsv is sensational. it took me some time to digest the twist, and it is clearly an unfinished game, and the story is clearly undercooked, but it is truly a masterpiece. to think it could've been the greatest game of all-time with a few more months of development time... ;_;
I could have guessed as much before even looking it up.

You're misinterpreting my point. Someone said the list represents the PS4. I simply disagreed because of Bloodborne being an amazing exclusive to the system and the games "representing" the PS4 are multiplatform. Surely that isn't difficult to understand.
Arkham Knight is still a good Batman game and no amount of whining about the Batmobile will change that. And I don't think it should be exempt from GOTY considerations just because of the PC version (I know that's where this talk will inevitably lead).![]()
Basically Time tried being different and gave an ios game GOTY to say it's a viable platform, at least that's how I feel.
How is Bloodborne not on the list?
You haven't played it (I'm assuming). Time has more authority on the subject of Prune than practically anyone in here.Basically Time tried being different and gave an ios game GOTY to say it's a viable platform, at least that's how I feel.

edit - also, hard to take them seriously when they list Tomb Raider on the opposite platform it's available on lol

So where's your top 10 article since you seem to be the highest authority to judge best games ?Time yet again showing they don't know what the hell they're talking about by liking a game I haven't heard of before.
No, but neither is Undertale.Serious question, do y'all believe games like Bloodborne have mass appeal? like, honestly, i know the game is crazy good.
But really, do y'all think Bloodborne is the kind of game that appeals to the masses?
Re-read his post. He was being sarcastic. So where's your top 10 article since you seem to be the highest authority to judge best games ?
Time said:The antithesis of Sonys linear, shoot-heavy Uncharted games, Rise of the Tomb Raider moves at comparably ruminative speeds, embedding you in its bleakly beautiful and broad wintry landscapes with only your wits and scant weapons. Its both a study in how to craft a relatable protagonist whose every fight is tooth and nail, and the best puzzle-exploration-survivalism odyssey since Crystal Dynamics 2013 series relaunch.
[PlayStation 4]
Guys, Time gave 80 Days the GOTY in 2014. If you look at past years this list fits in.
That said... Bloodborne
Mass appeal shouldn't be a factor in GOTY lists.Serious question, do y'all believe games like Bloodborne have mass appeal? like, honestly, i know the game is crazy good.
But really, do y'all think Bloodborne is the kind of game that appeals to the masses?
