good now hire Luca Zampriolo to do the mech designs
That's $600,000,000.00 in a perfect world if each game at $60. That doesn't even include tax. That's quite a few copies of Titanfall.
EA Access is inflating these numbers or what?
I was under the impression the game didn't do so hot.
Are we sure those are sales and not unique users? iirc that was what they used to report back then

I honestly can't tell what's a joke post or just GAF anymore.
I mean...that's not very hard to believe when they've practically given the game away multiple times. I mean, the game has been $5 on both PC and Xbox One many times from what I remember, and they made the season pass free.
likw fuck it does.
that means NPD means nothing...
Is this based on the $60 price tag? This is the important bit.
Okay that sounds much more resonable, Destiny claims its got a crazy high number of players to but they count the people who just tried the demo with that. The title is a bit of a stretch, he is likely referring to 10 million unique players considering the wording of the tweet.

It is $14AU new at my local store and they still cant rid of it.
I go to the store and see game for $59.99
I go the internet and see game sell 10 million units.
I round up by a cent and take 10 million times 60 and I get 600 million.
In all honesty I don't know or care how much they made, but that's quite a bit of sales.
I'm happy for them. I wouldn't mind seeing a sequel.
alternatively, "We sold 10 million without a single player campaign, the future is clear!"
Fine with me though, wish I was more compelled to leave it installed.

10 million of what?
Unique players? Copies shipped?
Is EA Vault included in that number?
Also, this game has been dirt cheap multiple times over the past year, so this number doesn't feel particularly impressive.
Still the most intense shooter this generation.
Greatly looking forward to the sequel. Hopefully they can retain what made it feel amazing without changing its identity.
Titanfall boasts 8 million unique players
I noticed a lot of people hate on this game here, so I guess this won't be any different.
But at least it shows that a MP only game can sell well.
Also, final thought is that the tweet doesn't actually say sales and respawn has said in the past (on this very forum) that EA doesn't release sales figures. This could be another celebration of how many people have played TF and not how many people bought TF.
Huh? Why? This is over the lifetime of the title.
Of course not, games go on sale
Last December.
From 8M unique player to 10M sales in 10 months? Hard to believe,

Following NPD, did you tjink it sold 10 million?
