PS4 had a one year DLC exclusivity for the first year of content if I'm not mistaken.

it wasn't dlc exclusivity it was 2 guns and 2 strikes i believe

Usually I'm the one buying games for my friends since I'm well off and we live in Croatia where steam thinks it's good to charge us the same for games as they do in Germany rofl.

So either I buy games for a bunch of my friends or they don't play/pirate. So this was a nice surprise.

I suppose this system is in place to prevent high level players from getting a bunch of awesome loot and giving it to lowbies to quickly get them to level up.

It is both to help prevent power leveling, as well as dupping. I doubt it gets more robust than it currently is, as what is there is pretty much what Diablo 3 has had for awhile now.

more like to prevent people using real money too buy items. "lowbies" couldn't use that high lvl loot anyway, its gated off by level.

yea true but thats the fun of games like diablo, wow, it makes leveling fun again! But since this doesnt really have different classes and skill trees its not like you have to make a new character to try something new like Diablo2/Path of exile.

Yesterday I was pulling 50-60 Mb/s so at least you know it's theoretically higher than what you're experiencing.

Same system is in place in PC version of Diablo 3, works super well. Encourages loot sharing within party nicely. Something Destiny would adopt also.

Trust me, it really fucking sucked for X1 Destiny owners, too. 1 Strike doesn't sound like much, but out of a total of 6 Strikes, it's a lot.
