I played for two hours and the game has its hooks in me already. Really enjoying it so far!

They're consumables like flammable bullets, grenades etc. If you're full up (fully stocked) you can't use them.

If you have max already you won't loot them
If the columns are greyish and kinda diminished it means it's a consumeable that you are full on

Well I'm currently live tracking my Division pre-order and it's 30 minutes away, huzzah... now to just get the 8 hours of work out of the way before I'm able to play it.
How's everyone finding it so far? I'm hoping the servers are pretty stable when I jump on tonight. I'm planning on playing solo for the story stuff and then group up for missions and eventually dark zone.

If it is not letting you pick them up it means you inventory is full for whatever it is that they dropped. For example, if you can only carry 3 health and an enemy drops a health, it will not let you pick it up due to your inventory for that item is full. This will happen if you do a lot of searching, there are a lot of buff items that early on you can only carry 2 or 3 of each.

Cool, I'm pretty much doing the same. Just remember that you don't get any XP for replaying missions a second time. Only extra gear and a small amount of XP from kills.

So what's the impact of a higher level character playing with lower level characters? I have the ability to play more than my friends but I don't want to have to play multiple characters so we can all stay at the same level. Did they balance this in a way that I can play through their missions and not diminish their XP as well as blow through the enemies quickly?

i haven't found any but i am sure we go back to brooklyn. that precinct mission is really cool AND can be played on hard with matchmaking. no way that is a one off thing.

I was expecting amazon to deliver my gold edition this morning. Just got an email saying it will be delivered on Friday. Arse badgers.

For me, clicking on a couple of things on the game's page "refreshed" it and the 'Pre-load' button changed to 'Play'.

Starting a playthrough in approx 5 mins for those interested, will have a good look at character customisation before starting. Stream will be here Countdown says 2 hours but i got the game earlier!
That's not an issue at all, i want to take my time and enjoy the game as much as i can.
However, i think it's really weird that upping the difficulty of a mission doesn't get you the XP difference between the difficulty you played and the new difficulty.
they do,yeah. they checkpoint you every so often. you get put there if you wipe as well

Same here. Complete BS. A friend of mine (who lives around the corner) pre-ordered the exact same version, also on Xbox, a week later than I did, and his copy is arriving today. Mine also says "arriving Friday".

I might do. I have to work until Saturday anyway but I would get an hour or so each night to play it if I picked it up today.
It was bought for me as a present and they didn't select express shipping. I'll know for next time to just ask for the cash and order it on my prime account. Ah well, lives and learns. At least there'll be plenty of high level gaffers to boost me at the weekend.
