All right, I'm down.its definitely gonna have a new soundtrack with nothing but dubstep
I love the THPS series as much as anyone, but I wonder what control scheme the games will have.
Surely they won't handicap it by sticking to THPS2 controls, would they?
The game needs to at least have reverts and flatland combos or it'll feel ancient.
I played the shit out of this game back then. I will do the same thing again.
Custom soundtracks or no buy - it's unreasonable to expect them to re-license all that music from the originals, but at the same time those tracks are a huge part of what makes the THPS franchise so memorable. It'd be like playing Crazy Taxi without The Offspring/Bad Religion, or Carmageddon 2 without Iron Maiden. Fuck that.
Wait until the next generation for Skate 4. They really add a whole lot now. In the meantime I hope they release a Skate for the PS Vita. 2 analog sticks baby!Cmon EA, make Skate 4. Fuck THPS.
Wait until the next generation for Skate 4. .
I love me some skate, but in all honesty, what could they add? The trickbook is already bulging at the sides, the pad couldn't take any more inputs. Flatland tricks are all that is missing at this point, and I literally can't see how they'd squeeze them in there.
Maybe they're using the Dreamcast versions to work on? Is that possible?
I'll be a sad panda if Superman by Goldfinger isn't in the soundtrack.
so long as they have enough of the original songs from the first two games to make a full soundtrack, that's fine by me. i don't need them to be my favourites either.
Really all the game needs is good custom soundtrack support. Just say "here's a playlist on my Xbox, play one of these songs" and we can just burn off the soundtrack ourselves.
Actually, a new soundtrack that's comprised of dubstep remixes of the old soundtracks would be good.
I would accept custom soundtracks for this if they can't get the original one.
Too bad 3 had the best soundtrack.

-dubstep
-good
Pick one.
What was so great about 3?
I'm curious if they'll add revert in this or just keep it like tony hawk 2x was and just have manual.

3 had Alien Ant Farm and AFI on it. It didn't have Superman. How anyone can say 3 has the best soundtrack is crazy to me. 2. 2 had the best soundtrack.
It's unrealistic to expect them to have 30+ licensed songs in a $15 digital download game. It'll probably be a completely new/original soundtrack, like the iOS version was.
There's always custom soundtracks.
I never played 1 & 2, LOVED 3 & 4.
How I think it's going to play out
What people want
1 & 2 fully remade in HD
Original soundtracks, characters, cheats etc
Added online modes
What we will get
Some levels from 1 & 2 remade
About half of the other original stuff inside
Online scoreboards
If it does well we will get 3 & 4 in HD 2
Uh...what do you think an HD remake is? Current gen graphics, online play.
That's not official as far as I can tell, a reviewer with friends at the company working on the game.

1. Buy SoundtrackOnion_Relish said:No original sound track no sale. I'm not even fucking joking.
Do it, do. It
