Demon's Souls at the moment. I think the only game that could surpass it is GT5 if it blows me away but I don't normally enjoy driving/racing sims.

I actually really enjoyed FFXIII surprisingly, and one of my fav games this year actually released last year, Dragon Age. I put a lot of time into MAG and had a lot of fun with GAFfers.

God of War III and Heavy Rain were good games but ultimately quite forgettable.

Was disappointed with RDR and BFBC2, and New Vegas has frozen over 20 times so that ruined the experience for me.

Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep and Peace Walker were both excellent.

And there's many others.

But yeh at the moment Demon's Souls.

I haven't really played very many games this year, but I've played these five extensively. I've also played Red Dead Redemption (I'll give it another shot during winter break), Enslaved: Odyssey to the West (really good game, but not GotY material), Rock Band 3, Final Fantasy XIII, Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes, and some other stuff I can't remember.

Next on my playlist is Vanquish, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, Medal of Honor, and Call of Duty: Black Ops. I might give Fable 3 a shot, but I never really liked the franchise that much.

Oh yeah, completely forgot about Strange Journey. I love that game! I still need to finish it. : \ Maybe I should do that first before Vanquish.

I haven't played Kirby's Epic Yarn or Donkey Kong Country Returns yet, so they have a good chance of being in my top five. Other games include FlingSmash (my most anticipated game of the year), Mario Vs. Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem and PokePark Wii.

In m ycase I played Super Mario Galaxy 2 and loved it. But, I didn't played it as much as the first game (i.e. all stars); and I played other games (like the ones I listed) more than Galaxy 2, so didn't listed it. Not listing it, doesn't mean I didn't played it. The game was darn amazing in any case.
