Yeah, definitely not feeling the burn in this year compared to previous ones. 2007 is still the heaviest holiday season ever for me, just constant titles from end of summer on: Bioshock, Halo 3, Orange Box, CoD4, Mass Effect, Puzzle Quest, etc (and I was 360 exclusive at that point! If I had my PC and PS3 back then, I would have been in debt, not just broke).
This year, there is Halo 3:ODST (not really a must have title in hindsight, want to ditch it but need the multiplayer disc for matchmaking until the maps get released), Modern Warfare 2, and thats it. I'll probably grab Dragon Age, and maybe Brutal Legend next week, but must have titles for me are few and far between: didnt like Uncharted, sequel is a no go. Likewise for Assassins Creed. L4D2 doesnt seem necessary considering how quickly my friends list burned out on the original. Been meaning to start playing Ratchet PS3 and then maybe buy the sequel, but I still can't work up the motivation to turn my PS3 on instead of my 360, so that's probably going to wait for a price drop as well. I just am not seeing a heavy holiday season this year at all.
