No merchandising potential.

No, seriously, that was the excuse given. They were having difficult finding marketable toys for the show, despite the fact that every god damn character, even the one-shots, are action figures.

They couldn't make merchandise from this. It just had to go, man.

:(

They had trouble making toys for a giant robot show

Four words: Booty. Quaking. Kimmy. Doll.

So much money.

This is probably one of the best episodes of series.

Then it gets way too damn slow with the Briggs intro.

Only because they cut the Ishval flashback.

Just 160-200 pages of the manga they flat out removed.

They did an okay job with Scar's backstory when he meet Winry (that backstory was part of the Ishval volume), but overall, they fucked up perhaps the best and most important volume of the manga in terms of character development and world building.

Pretty sure the one soul remaining is his own since he has his memories from before the injection.

Anyways, now you know how Bradley became a homunculus, and that he doesn't have regeneration, and why the xingese can't sense him (he only has one soul, unlike the other homunculi).

Bradley did make sense. Why go back to being a human when you can become more powerful as a homunculus?

It's not just about power. He doesn't get ill, and it helps him maintain his vitality to an extent (thoug he still ages and weakens)

Plus, it's part of who he is. His personal identity, now.

Brotherhood would be significantly better if it left out the slapstick animu bits.

And the 2003 series had a lot of scenes that were gory just because... who knows. It always baffles me when people criticize Brotherhood for having too many fight scenes, when it barely has any compared to 2003.

They didn't abruptly cut! My soul is saved for another week. But the shortened version still burns.
