Toy Story 3 - where is the "Game" announcement ?

not much, the levels are based losely on the movie story (and they are alle purest crap and trial & error hell). the highlight is the toy box and this is good fun.

Is there anything spoilery in the game? Looking to buy this to play with the kids, but haven't seen the movie yet - doesn't open in the UK until next weekend.

Haven't seen the movie yet (again it's not out here) but other than the new charcters and the daycare centre being in it (which you'll have no doubt seen in trailers), there certainly didn't seem to be any spoilers for the film. It's a shame the story levels didn't have a much effort as Toy Box mode though. The story levels are pretty forgettable and almost seem an afterhtought to fill the package.

Though one thing I really disliked about the game was the god awful car handling. Those parts could have been good fun, but trying to get around and do stunts etc, is a nightmare.

Platinum'd it last night! :D

Overall I'd give it a 7. Solid game.

Imagine how ugly that'll look on the shelf. Toy Story 1 and 3: The Game packed on 1 disc on one part of the shelf. Toy Story 2 (and eventually 3) all alone in a totally different part. Wow.

Are you seeking help for your OCD?

anyone having problems with the PS3 version of this? My kids were playing it and suddenly they lost a bunch of stuff like the toolbox, pick axe and some items like the race car and bullseye disappeared. Means they can't customise any buildings (which means they can't complete some tasks), or mine gold. Maybe a broken save game somehow?

Not had any problems with it myself. Played a fair bit of 2 player as well and not ran into anything like that. Can you not re-summon Bullseye and the cars and the Toy Barn?

nope. and the toolbox, pick axe and laser pistol were missing from my items list. Somehow they managed to get the laser pistol back though.

might just start over

Also, how do you actually play thestorymode?after the initial train level it put me straight in the toy box mode and doesn't give me any more story levels.

You gotta quit ToyBox mode and it takes you back to the board game screen. There you can click on Andy's House and continue the story levels.
