The scene where Arnie grabs John off his bike was always super obvious. I kinda like it though, once I got used to it and it stopped taking me out of the film, it started to have a certain charm to it.
I'm not against them painting over the stuntmen's faces, just hope they do a decent job of it.

Unless something changed this is getting a limited theatrical re-release next month.
According to StudioCanal Germany only the theatrical cut has a 4K master. On the Blu-ray the Director's Cut and Extended Special Edition will also use the 4K master footage through seamless branching, but any extended or new scenes will differ in quality.
