It confuses me every time people say Hogan and Bischoff ruined TNA. It has been worse since they got involved, but TNA's been pretty shit since like 2006. Same with WWE being PG.

It's sad. I remember watching some of the first TNA PPVs back in the day and it felt like a new ECW of sorts.

TNA was different, and it had that going for it. The six sided ring? The X division? cool stuff and was a breath of fresh air compared to WWE back during that era. Cause it was HHH all day every day. I even switched to TNA full time when Christian jumped ship.


Ever since Hogan came in? Removed the Six sided ring, hiring Nasty boyz? old WWE retreads? Killed any interest i had in the promotion.

There won't be any storyline changes until April after Lockdown most likely. Storylines in TNA are wrote out 6 months in advance and they started the new stuff after BFG. I still think Russo wrote this set of tapings with Conway under the guidance of Pritchard and Bischoff. I'll have to watch Impact later.

I don't understand this train of thought. Where did all the six sided rings and the X division get TNA? For four years they went no where. Stuck in the mud. The Nasty Boys where in TNA for what a month? Why are we using that as a blame factor?

What ever you guys think of Hogan and Bischoff, they have brought TNA business that would not have been there otherwise. What ever there motives have been since entering TNA, I trust them more than I trust the prior regime. There plan hasn't even unfolded yet because of that fkn cancer Russo. I'm going to hold judgment for 6 months.

Let's see where the company is at when both their contracts expire.

I'm still in hope that Bischoff either sticks around, or really does start his own promotion again. He gave me some of the best wrestling memories I have ever had.

Hogan and Bischoff haven't done a thing for TNA, and never will. There's been absolutely no forward progress in that company since the 2004-2006 years where they were gaining momentum and actually felt like a strong alternative to the WWE. TNA had the opportunity to do something different but instead went and picked up 2 hacks who've done nothing but attempt to turn the place into latter years WCW 2.0. I hope they DO form their own thing and fail worse than TNA when they bring in muscle bound freaks and never have beens while trying to build the company on Hulk Hogan's non-existent popularity. Both of em need to get the hell off TV too. I'm so sick of these guys.

I wish I could reboot wrestling.

Because shit like the Nasty Boys killed any momentum gained from the surprise signings of Hogan & Bischoff - things quickly went from "Holy shit! This is big" to "OK, this is going to be a train-wreck". Especially as in the months preceding Hogan & Bischoff's arrival the TNA in-ring product was at the best it had been in YEARS.
