C'mon Dwayne, a three piece suit without a tie is just... wrong.

Where's HHH's neck?

WWE needs to hire better wardrobe stylists and tailors for these type of events.

Same here, it sounds a bit goofy, but the right commentator (i.e. JR) could sell the inevitable "KO from Kassius Ohno!" line really well.

I totally missed that. He can still be the KO kid! Also, Seth Rollins is such a better name than Tyler Black!

Couldn't get to watch TNA last night, but watching the clips now.

Way better than any guest host garbage the WWE has done. Jacobs trains and boxes in the offseason so I could see him being interested in this kind of stuff. Watch how dull WWE makes the Shaq-Big Show thing.

So Swagger wins the US Title...

...and immediately gets demoted to Superstars?

I don't even...the US Title is now COMPLETELY meaningless.
They haven't cared about that title, or the IC for that matter, since they had a good feud between Matt Hardy-MVP back on Smackdown in late 2008. Ever since it's been completely irrelevant who holds it. It's pathetic how they've treated the titles.

So, Ring Ka King is quickly on its way to being one of my favorite wrestling shows to watch.

What a great promotion so far. Old-school wrestling psychology that transcends language, no bullshit McMahon 'decisions' and a nice clear set of storylines to follow. The in-ring work is pretty green with most of the Indian talent but they're improving and you can see it. Production values are great, which honestly goes a long way with me.

A few things I -really- like about the show, though:

+ They give PLENTY of background and clear direction for their characters. They had a tag-team tournament and every single team was memorable in some form or fashion. Nobody was just tossed together for the hell of it.

+ Jwala, while green, has a hellacious look.

+ The Mumbai Cats! They tag via claw! Claws! Cats! They are wonderful.

+ I really enjoy seeing Steiner in there, because it's kind of a vision of his own personal hell. Transplanted somewhere where he doesn't know their language, he hates everything...this is a perfect move for his character.

+ As it's been said before, this is all of the writing talent of TNA and none of the bullshit, and it shows.

+ I really like a clean slate with new characters. Their roster is pretty fantastic - a lot of people who were signed by WWE or TNA that obviously love wrestling but never got time to showcase it...now they can.

+ Pathani Pathhe are incredible. Caricatures but wonderful.

+ Died laughing at Gallows' Bikertaker and Roscoe's Bob Orton. Fantastic.

So far I've watched every episode that's available and I'm really digging it. If you haven't checked it out, it's all on Youtube and now is a great time to jump in.

I love how Ring Ka King make you forget about how TNA is. Gallows is hilarious, plus the Bollywood Boys and good lil Broadway... LOL

This is where Steiner should be at. He's a monster and a tyrant. He don't care who you are and he destroy people. Also, putting Sonjay in the group was the best thing ever. TNA fans know who he is, and he's playing a heel role. I hope they put the strap on The Shieks.

Yeah Ring Ka King is great. Its right now the best wrestling promotion going IMO. I think the fact that the crowd is so hot for everything helps grealtly. I'm especially liking Sir Brutus Magmus..

I forgot to mention that Jazzy Lahoria has the most amazing look I've ever seen. He's like an Indian Kevin Sullivan.

Is it in English, or subtitled, or what?

Pieces in English, especially from the English-speaking wrestlers. The commentary is sparse but it works well, some odd English phrases appear but it's all about the in-ring work.

"OH MY GOD! THROAT PUNCHER!"

Worth watching, even if you don't understand a lick of Hindi.

That is one thing I like about it. You have tag teams where one speak English and the other speak Hindu. This helps out a lot, also with Bosche there to call out some of the American wrestlers, it helps the pop.

Scott Steiner really need to learn media training. The locker room segment with all of the Indian wrestlers was the worst. It was going great until Steiner called them, "white trash." No white man was in the locker room beside Steiner and Brutus. I laugh at it because he need to stop blurting out things that don't make sense. They could had redone that segment.

"I WANT CONTROL OF RING KING KING! RING KING KING!"

Then you have Chris Masters "You'll win 1,000 dolla..er.....of whatever this is."

I don't know what you're talking about. Scott Steiner calling Indian people "white trash" is a reason to tune in for me.

Never mind the fact that "white trash" is basically Scott Steiner's version of "jabroni."

American Adonis... Why would he go back to that gimmick? He should had went with something new.

Honestly, I don't think he has any other ideas...and it IS playing to his strengths.

Apparently they have a dude that's like, 7'7" on the roster. For a frame of reference, Khali is billed at 7'1" - can't wait to see this dude.

is that indian audience new to wrasslin?
the most basic movies get huge "heat/cheers"

Yes, most of them have never even seen it before. It's pretty refreshing to have a crowd like that.

Thanks very much for that! the Super Jr tourney sounds great, how do you go about getting tickets? What are the prices like? Cheers!

There is a ticket office on the 5th floor of the building (that is where the actual ringside area is located) and the staff are helpful when it comes to choosing your seats. I think the ticket I bought was around $60 for a middle tier seat. It's a small hall that only seats around 2,100 people but there is barely a bad seat in the house.

There are also wrestling stores nearby that also sell tickets to the events. If you are certain you will be going to Tokyo soon, PM me and I can give you directions. Same goes to anyone visiting Tokyo soon.
