I just watched Smackdown and that crowd went berserk when Santino won the match. Holy crap. :lol
and this year it means EVEN LESS than it usually does, what with the whole "supershow" bullshit they've been doing since august

Though I guess one could argue it's important for Smackdown only, their roster is horrible right now.
So is RAW's, to be honest.

Good point, let me rephrase that then, Smackdown's "roster" is like a catastrophic disaster, the few good wrestlers are weakened survivors from such a disaster and the vast amount of jobbers are the zombies/mutants.
I can only hope you all hummed the theme music when he arrived at the school each day.
RAW's roster is as equally shit. I give Smackdown a bone, at least, with Christian, Sin Cara, Orton, and Henry all either missing time or injured. RAW has no excuse, but that's been the same story for the past 5+ years.

So apparently the Elimination PPV is tonight, huh, that one sneaked up on me, I thought it was next week. So with that in mind its time for rambling predictions and all that stuff.
Cena Vs Kane in an Ambulance Match
The Kane cycle has done what the Kane cycle does which is to take something Kane related that has potential and then do as much as possible to do the opposite, usually in the same manner that they always do (look out for a Kane/Eve pairing in the future) . Even so there was still one way to salvage both this feud and help the upcoming Rock/Cena match and that is to have Cena embrace the hate. But its pretty clear that WWE have no intentions to do such things so get ready for Rock and Cena to respect the hell out of each other for the next month, meanwhile Kane will be taking a trip in the ambulance because theres no way he wins this one.
To reiterate a point I made back at the rumble, we could get a good Cena/Kane match here If the stipulations are right, both men do well in the more gimmicky matches that allow for brutality, going by the original ambulance match with Shane and Kane we have here a match that allows for such things, question is will WWE actually let them go nuts with a Cena/Umaga style ruck? Or will Cena just coast through while Kane does bog standard Kane stuff? Sadly I think its the latter. Better buckle up for some bland head hitting barricade antics and a slow plodding pace but dammit Im wishing for the contrary.
Beth Phoenix Vs Tamina Snuka for the Divas title
This might be an okay 5 minutes, Im assuming Tamina can actually wrestle but Im really not too sure, its not like she has ever been given enough time to show such things. Beth retains to lead into a Kharma angle, elsewhere Natalya will be farting while Vince rubs one out over such hilarity.
Smackdown Elimination Chamber
Oh dear me, this is a sorry line of possible WM title holders to usurp the crappy SD 2008 chamber participants. Okay so first up we have two pretty good midcarders in Rhodes and Barrett who will not be heading to WM as champ, the joke jobber Santino who will possibly be entertaining but hasnt a hope in hell, the oafish Great Khali which makes me wonder why hes here. Next we have The Big Show who has in fact been sitting atop the SD main event scene for months and no one really cares either way, the man is apathy incarnate these days as his rumble entry last month showed. Finally theres D Bryne, what a turnaround, he goes from barely being on tv to being a possible main eventer for WM, his heel turn has been handled well but he still hasnt been built up very well, better late than never I guess.
I expect Bryan to retain but Im always up for the Barrett Barrage, Im also up for someone taking Khali out of the match, Ill take Teddy Long in the chamber over him which involves Long putting his opponents in impromptu tag team matches mid match that they cannot deny.
Raw Elimination Chamber
A much better line up on the Raw side of things though following the WM rumours its pretty much Punk or Jerichos to win and they will go off to feud with each other while the rest prepare for MITB participation. Im hoping Kofi gets a good showing after the whole afterthought bit on Raw, if anyone fills the role of being quickly disposed of its likely Miz due to his sloppy work recently, on the whole it should be entertaining.
Wait thats it? I guess we can expect some random fluff to be thrown onto the card such as
- Sheamus, remember him? He won the rumble and has done nothing since, hell probably just arrive to beat up some poor sap much like how Edge beat on Regal two years ago.
- Christian or Del Rio might pop up for whatever reason, both men have been injured but could be back soon, Mark Henry is still around as well, last seen being punched out by Big Show on Smackdown
- Missing: WWE United states championship, last seen worn by some Gorilla in a wrestling singlet (I jest Swagger)
- Ryder arrives in a full body cast/mummified with one eye gap where his angry gaze pierces through, are you serious bro?!
- Who the hell are the tag team champs?! Well whoever they are they may turn up.
- Brodus Clay returning from his home planet of planet funk? Unless he died on the way back of course.
- The glorious return of Sin Cara and Rey so they can prepare for their big WM match .yeah I wish.
One last point, the PPV is FREE on Sky Sports.

As long as Daniel Bryan keeps the title this will be a great ppv. I'm gonna miss it live, but I'll watch it later on when I get back. They have to throw 1 or 2 more matches on there. I guess they will have a tag title match on the show.

Not interested enough to stay up and watch it live. Will catch it in the morning and fast forward through the turd.
Honestly i am only semi-interested in the RAW one.
SD one looks weak, Cena/Kane i have 0 interest in and i have absolutely 0 interest in women's wrestling, especially botched WWE women's wrestling.
But i will watch the PPV, probably will skip the beth match to make something to eat.
