I want Punk to go against Cena and Orton again. Not chumps like Miz, Truth and Kofi. That screams mid-card to me more than anything.

It makes more sense for the face to chase for the title than the heel, especially for the big show of the year Wrasslemania

Yup. Plus the chamber match is pretty much Punk vs. Jericho with some other guys in the ring, everyone knows it's gonna be one of them winning. Punk going over Jericho now kills the heat for Mania. They would have to give Punk some kind of controversial win.

Or have a random win tonight, and have the title switch hands to either Jericho or Punk within the next week or two.

That's what I hate about having this EC. There's no chase with a 5 week build to a ppv. I'm going to Mania next month and there's just no build right now.

Knowing WWE, they will keep Punk and Jericho apart for most of the match and we'll only get small bits of interaction between the two.

Anyone else think Jericho wins the title tonight?

Call me crazy, but I think it happens for a few reasons:

1) They have to have some kind of hook to set up the Wrestlemania rematch. Punk winning over Jericho after Jericho lost the Royal Rumble already leaves no leverage whatsoever for Jericho to have a Wrestlemania rematch.

2) WWE loves to put over the match tiself as some kind of event, no matter how few watch or how many think this PPV is a waste. So they tend to hotshot things just to put over the importance of the match. There's no way they have no title changes tonight, and Orton out in the other match with no one relevant there to win it, and Danielson's "surviving troll" gimmick means he'll be the one to hang on.

That's my pick Jericho shenanigans takes the title tonight. They booked themselves into a hole with Sheamus winning the Rumble.

Its going to be Sheamus and Bryan at wrestlemania. Sheamus now probably wants to fight him after Bryan spit on him this friday.

Y'know what, I'm Positive Wrecker for, at least, the rest of this week. Ring Ka King has shown to me that, yeah, I still like this stuff when it's done well. Has there been a match better than 3 stars so far? Not really. But everyone has a purpose, everyone has a gimmick, all the tag teams makes sense, a lot of the US guys are really underrated, all the feuds are simple, no soap opera garbage, no convoluted supernatural feuds, everyone's fighting for a reason, the Titles are treated as goals, etc. etc. etc. I understand 25% of what's spoken and enjoy it 200 times more than what I watch every week.

It's like TNA without the family drama. Watch this stuff, people.

Da hail? Maybe I should watch this if it's able to warm your ice-cold heart.

Kane finally gave you that autograph, huh?

I'm serious. It's old school in its approach from the characters to the psychology, but in a way that still works today. Almost all of the storytelling is done in the ring aside from backstage interviews, and some of these gimmicks are just lololol like Luke freakin Gallows basically taking on Taker's biker gimmick, a tag team called The Bollywood Boys, the Mumbai Cats who claw at the air and lick their "paws" etc.

And Scott Steiner being a prick in an unknown land where the people run from him in terror. GOLD.

Kane finally gave you that autograph, huh?

Why you gotta bring up Kane? I was enjoying myself.

But really, Eugene is in Ring Ka King playing an insane doctor and I'm completely fine with that. Maybe it's about how they present the entire program that allows me to accept it............or maybe I just don't like Kane.

You just gave me an idea Net! Indian Kane! Or, a different Kane from different parts of the world. Chinese Kane, Arabian Kane, Scottish Kane, African Kane. They must all battle in an Elimination Chamber to determine the greatest Kane in the world! Think of the buyrate!

You left out the best Kane:

Sounds like the Kane Edition of Punch Out, stereotypes everywhere but with masks and supernatural powers.

This guy is always trying to get to talk about Kane. You're like one of those guys who were always trying to bring up Digimon when Pokemon was the hottest product in the hood.

SoulPlaya, get the hell out of here with your Digimon crap.

apologies to Beef

Kane Prime would just attack China-Kane the whole time while quoting Ayn Rand
It's the Crisis on Infinite Earths edition of WWE.

Think of the sales! It'll bring up Nintendo's stock price.

I liked both, but heavily preferred Pokemon. Speaking of which, what Pokemon do you think Kane would be Net?

lol.

Lance Storm returning to ROH:

Ring of Honor announced this afternoon that former WWE, ECW and WCW star Lance Storm will be returning to the company at their Showdown in the Sun iPPV during Wrestlemania weekend, facing Mike Bennett.

Storm, who officially retired in 2005, still makes occasional in-ring appearances and trains talents in Calgary. He has made several appearances for ROH over the last several years.
