WTF- as people here note, does Truck Simulator not exist?
Why would a dev waste their time doing a crap version of a highly specialised and minority game type that already has a winning and highly praised title?
It gets worse. Doing mods for something like Minecraft has led to the better modders going on to make their own games. I don't know if one can mod Truck Simulator (america or europe), but playing that game, and then thinking about the mechanisms one could add to make it better would have been a far more sensible new developer approach.
The truth about sims is that there is a lot of room to innovate. But wasting one's time with Unity or Unreal, putting in a crappy road system, a crappy land system and then banging in some as-yet unlicenced vehicle models is really a giant waste of effort when a very good sim in the same direction is already sold.
I'll never get hobbyists who do lame copies with no originality. It's a big lost opportunity, and a waste of time and effort. Learn to code and design on something with some originality, and there's a real chance someone will have genuine interest in your early efforts.
