I was just trying to explain this book to my wife the other day. I was describing the scene when they were trying to pound the t-bone steak into the rabbit's chest instead of a wooden one. She had a horrified look on her face and asked what kind of scary-ass books I read as a kid.

:lol :lol :lol

Chester was such an awesome character. And the mom who wanted to name all the animals "Fluffy."

Great book.

from my own experience, Japanese like classical music a lot, specially solo piano stuff and chopin's works always receive lots of love.

this game, by the looks of it, is the biggest japan-oriented game in 2007. It has everything to become a smash hit there.

.- RPG.
.- Classical piano music.
.- Cool ( girly for some) art direction.
.- Epic-emo story japanese love in their games.
( aeris dies )

could it help the 360 in japan?????

I don't have enough masculinity points built up to waste some on purchasing this title (but I want to buy it. it sure look purty....) SHIT! just lost some more points thinking that. :(

If you hit the gym 3x a week between now and then, fire up the grill every Saturday, watch every NBA playoff game and put up a Heidi Klum poster in your room, you might just have enough points to afford it.

Boy, cant wait for this :D This is my most wanted on RPG on 360, over Blue Dragon even, I like the art and style here better. Also, I look forward to the story here more. Good stuff :D

Must also purchase biggest truck he can find, and eat a extra bloody rare steak every Wednesday.

Graphics seem typical anime style stuff we've seen time and time again so that doesnt really get me excited, but if its good then ill get it.

Even though the story is a bit weird, and the environments don't look very good. The art style and gameplay mechanics make me want this oh so much.

I must have it.

Maybe if they do a bundle.

I am curious to know what the camera is gonna be used for... will you take pictures of your enemies to sell like in Baten Kaitos? Game looks awesome too.

I don't have a X360, still I'm interested in Trusty Bell but that bundle is weak imho.
Why bundle it with a core?
The art on the side is cool instead and it sort of fits the color of the box.

game is called eternal sonata in america, and its supposed to hit in summer and before BD. Hopefully its good, it looks great :)

I want this game... is this one going to take as long as Blue Dragon to get over here?
AFAIK, they're planning to release the game in the west as soon as possible.

Edit: Beaten

Bundle Pack to be released on June 14th in Japan. Awesomeness!

Once again, thx to Xboxyde.

Im guessing Microsoft found the way to sell their systems. Seems like a good plan actually.

Because the japanese seem to like the core. The japanese haven`t exactly embraced marketplace, and the japanese marketplace isn`t exactly great either, so why not. Keep the price as low as possible and people will be tempted to buy even if this is the only game they are interested in.

Awesome, the game looks really good. I'll have to get a 360 sometime. I love Chopin, lmao, so I'd buy it just for that aspect of the game.

That actually sounds interesting. Especially if they are good music pieces.

I've just played through that little phrase and can confirm that it is in fact bollocks. Unless they add other parts to the music (like, err, a bass part or something), it sounds like just a very simple melody, written very quickly or something. I still haven't gathered what your actually meant to do with it though, so I don't really know.

Yeah, sure does look Dreamcast quality here. o_O

This game is one of the prettiest things I've ever seen.

Shane am cry.

Just beautiful, the latest preview of this game in OXM sounds absolutely awesome.

Battles look kind of sparse to me, but the towns and fields look all kinds of awesome.
It seems like more of a sequel to Baten Kaitos than anything else... it even lets you take photos of monsters.

Don't I wish. :-( That being said, it is made by the same developer (Tri-Crescendo), so the similarities are not surprising.
