I'm waiting for 5 minutes already. GODDAMMIT :lol
You know you can press the home and sleep buttons (at the top of the iPod/iPhone) to take a screenshot, right?

Not sure if your aware of this Dock but your game has been reviewed by The Guardian. Got the paper today and noticed it in the "Guide" it says nothing but positive things. :D

Yes! :D I almost missed it! Thankfully someone told me, and a friend sent me his copy of The Guide. I'm really happy with that review, and it's made funnier because it's alongside MAG and Mass Effect 2 as the three games they chose to cover this week! XD

Hows the new level update coming dock
I'm working on that right now! I'm trying to track down the 'balloon reset explosion' bug, because this is actually stopping me from doing a lot of the new levels. I'll definitely be submitting more levels some time in the next two weeks.

Even my mom is hooked on this now.
Wow, that's great! :D

Apple have raised the download cap over 3G to 20mb, which means you can now download Tumbledrop without wifi! :D

Gotcha. Lookin forward to more levels, its a great game

I actually played this for the first time last night, the game is super cute/fun. Awesome job with the physics and gameplay Dock! :)

I've got 10 Tumbledrop codes for Neogaf users.
The codes only work for people with US-based iTunes accounts.

Post in this thread if you want one!! :)

J. M. Romeo, I'm really glad you and your girlfriend are enjoying it! Did you get the heart medal on level 24 yet?

All the free codes have gone now! :) (I gave them away in the iPhone game thread)

Level 24 eh? Sounds like a challenge. I'll get right to it.

EDIT: OH SHIT the giant jenga scales of fucking hell, I got stuck yesterday waiting for her in the hospital room, trying to get the heart medal and cursed loudly at one point. We are NOT checking any faqs or guides, but I hope it's doable at least. I don't wanna spend two hours on some Sheng Long type of stuff.

>___< gaaaah
It's doable, but super super hard! Please don't curse in hospitals on my account! XD;

Apple just featured Tumbledrop as one of the IGF finalists on the app store! :) I remember this list from last year, it's really nice to be there this year.

Congrats man, did you get enough scratch to make it to GDC?

I did! :D I'm flying to San Francisco on Tuesday, I'm very excited! Thanks man! I definitely wouldn't have been able to go if it weren't for the support I got from everyone, so it means a lot to me to have this opportunity. Also, I could really use a break from work! :D

Really glad to hear it. All the best for your trip and the competition, remember to network your ass off!

This was posted like two weeks ago, but it doesn't seem like anyone responded. Do you have any codes left? :)

Those are gone! However, I'm feeling generous, so five more codes :) PhlivoSong, you can have code #1.

Next four people to ask for a code in the thread, I'll send you a PM. You need a USA-based iTunes account.

Yes please.

Gift for the lovely lady in my life.

In level 52. It's impossible to beat. You need to move seven pieces but there's only six.
Yes, sorry about this, you can't get the heart medal in 1.04, it slipped through the net! I've submitted a fix (1.05), so that'll hopefully be up within a few days.

mrkgoo esquire Neuromancer - PMs coming your way soon! :D

One code left! Any takers?

May I have a code? Would like to let a friend use it.

Sure thing, Quadcore! :) Okay, all codes gone! I've sent all the PMs now! Have fun!

My new business cards just arrived! :D

Oh wow, I didn't realize a gaffer had made this. I just started iPhone gaming this week, and Tumbledrop is easily one of my favorites! I'll purchase it next chance I get (picked up a use iPod Touch, getting it replaced). From one indie to another, fantastic job!

That business card on the left is awesome. I don't really like the color palette used in Tumbledrop, but the overall aesthetic is great. By the way, people still use business cards? :D

Thanks, I think! XD Hell yeah people still use business cards. If you're having a conversation with someone, you need their phone number or email address, it's the best way to remember them and their details. The card is double sided - other one is just the back.

Hey Dock have you ever thought about putting a level editor into the game?
I have... but so far it doesn't really work too well.

Making good levels in the game requires a lot of weird and subtle tweaking, so objects get moved a few millimetre to ensure they roll left or right to create a fun response. It's something I'm evaluating for a future version of the game though, especially if I can get some tight control in there.

I've only played the demo so far on my brand-new Touch, but my 3-year-old son keeps demanding to play the "star blocks" game on my "new TV". :lol

It really is a lot of fun and a really great little game; I'm sort of worried about getting too OCD with the medals though, which is what's holding me back from buying it. My son may overrule me, though.

Zigg, it does seem that the game is popular with 3-year olds, although most of them have a unique name for it. One person's 3 year old daughter referred to it as 'Happy Rainbow'. I'm looking into whether I can do more for younger players in later editions of the game.

As for medals, they're all optional, and the main game is probably tough enough. :)

I got back from the GDC /IGF awards a few days ago. I didn't win anything, but it was definitely worth going.

My friend was just showing me this app, and I thought it looked awesome. Now that I know it was made by a Gaf member, bought. :D He also said it's the most frustratingly difficult app he's ever played, so I'll probably be back later to vent my anger. :lol

I downloaded the demo from the appStore after seeing it mentioned in the iPod/iPhone games thread here on GAF. In the mean time, a colleague of mine and his girlfriend are already hooked.
Once I finish getting all medals in the demo, I will almost certainly end up getting the full version.

One question related to that; when I click the "get full version" button in-game, will I be able to just "unlock" these new levels and keep my progress? Or do I need to download the full version completely?

I must say, I love the art style and the mechanics. It is so simple yet very addictive. Excellent game if you have a few minutes left to spare.
If/When I buy it, I will try to get a review up on the appStore too.

I ended up buying it, and I'll pick at it for a long while, I think. But yeah, I have issues with games that have a normal way to win and then medals. I need to get medals. :D
