We got next to no Exp from those battles. As long as Bidoof still has Exp Share I think we're better off just continuing to progress or even just grinding in the grass on higher level Pokemon.
 
Hey, this team is possibly one of the most solid teams in TPP history -- we just only need to evolve our Pokémon (eventually).

Very nice.
 
We're gonna need to work out a backup plan since it looks like Bidoof isn't gonna evolve in time. I vote we put Roselia and Shinx in daycare and try to deposit some Pokemon in the PC. If we get Bronzor into a low spot in our party maybe it'll survive.

Screw Shinx. He'll never evolve anyway. Just dump the whole team. Nobody's that good anyway.
 
So we've hit our surf wall, and chat is rioting for democracy. I really doubt he'll give us democracy for something so stupid though.

It's pretty clear we aren't evolving bidoof, but getting rid of it for a Bibarel shouldn't be too tough. We can drop Roselia and Shinx in the daycare, go to the PC and deposit just 1 pokemon (Bidoof will be in front so will be mostly likely to go), withdraw Roselia and Shinx and dump togepi, and then go and catch a Bibarel. If we catch something that can't surf instead we can just repeat the plan.

You know, if you're not enjoying this run you don't have to watch. HGSS will be much more democracy-dominated, you can always wait for that.

You know I haven't whined half as much as you did about using democracy. I am still helping as much as I can, but it's extremely stupid that we can't evolve anything. Anyway, I don't even mins doing a full PC dump at this point. Shinx is way too weak without evolving as is bidoof. The rest are decent but hardly irreplaceable. Why not just start fresh at this point? The more people get so uptight about holding on to every last Pokemon, the more incentive trolls have to ruin the team.

I beat Platinum with a Bidoof. It is totally doable.

Of course it is. But we can't do it without getting something that can learn surf. My point is that we shouldn't be so worried about a PC dump when we wouldn't be losing that much. We could easily get another team better than this one. We're only hanging on for sentimentality and to avoid giving into trolls.

It'll be easier to buy balls and catch one here. We can just use the PC to release what we catch if it isn't Bibarel. Also, if we get a low level one we can use daycare to overwrite HM's if it learns Cut, Rock Smash or Strength.

Considering our whole party is carrying mail (wow, good job chat) and cannot be deposited, for once a PC shuffle is actually the smart choice.

Even a broken clock... etc

Edit: I've never seen anyone so desperate to catch a Bibarel before
 
Wow I wake up to see we got rid of Bidoof, got mail on all our mons (FINALLY!), and I witness us catching Agent 006. I can't believe so much got done while I was asleep, good job Twitch.
 
This stream figured out, how you can play on a 3DS with chat commands. It uses an external device, which you connect to your PC and your 3DS. Here is an article and a video.

This is actually pretty awesome. Maybe we get to play Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire this way?

We taught Surf and escaped daycare with Flareon at the top of the party. Also Togepi is in the PC so we have extra space if we want to catch something new.
 
Now we just need a tiny bit of demo to get the rest of the team evolved. We'll need it for one of the puzzles eventually, right? Our move set is really good overall though.
