It's actually impossible to get better than a 0 in the dress-up section because it doesn't support dragging, so there's essentially no way to win. We'd have to get incredibly lucky in the dancing section to even get better than 4th.

I've actually found myself watching this one more often than the others, I'm enjoying it a lot. I have noticed a decrease in art though, even when compared to Fire Red which only had around 1000 viewers more on average. Also we're much more organized, which makes it a slightly less chaotic, though the "trolls" keep things from going too smoothly.

It's hard to tell if she's the ace or flareon is. They're both really good right now. For once, water is the starter type we're weakest on.

Edit: looks like chat's down again... why couldn't this happen while we're evolving somebody?
 
So I guess the chat broke and trolls were using the mobile chat to try and release the Pokemon. Now people are trying to stay stuck in the swamp until it's fixed.

Yeah it's pretty amazing how the trolls are consistently the most dedicated ones. I just don't understand how they can spend 12+ hours a day every day doing nothing but trolling the chat and canceling evolutions.

More organized? I don't think I've seem a run with so much trolls.
 
So apparently everybody's too scared to leave the mud for whatever reason. We're not getting the chat fixed anytime soon, so might as well try to progress with what we have.
 
I have to say, the team is looking pretty interesting. Evolve Golbat and Shinx. Level up Bidarel and we have a solid team.

Absolutely no chance of beating Cynthia though.

If we fully evolve the whole team, I think it's good enough to beat the game. That will almost certainly require democracy, though. Otherwise, we'll probably need to replace Shinx and possibly Bibarel once we're at the E4.

I was pretty sure most people considered the artwork and lore to be one of their favorite things about TPP. Sure, I might put them all in one place, but that's because I just keep this thread in the background most of the time.

Thought most people wanted the art to be posted

Well a temporary fix for being unable to send commands through the chat on the same page as the stream is to use an IRC client to connect to that twitch IRC server directly.

There's still too many people for this to do anything though.
 
Everything seems to be broken. The stream is showing just Pokemon Stadium with a commentator and no commands are getting through.

Yeah I'm hoping it will be resolved at some point today, but it's taking forever. Maybe the streamer should consider moving it to his own site at some point.
 
Hello just got activated recently. I'd been a fan of this since Red but still tune in every once in a while. It seems to me that people got kind of burnt out on it, and I kinda hoped the streamer would've put a small gap between each game.

Never really was a fan of democracy and only thought it should be useful when absolutely necessary like Rocket Hideout or Juan's gym for example. When people complain that things take too long I just think that the whole point of the experiment wasn't to beat the game as fast as possible, it was more just to see if a bunch of semi-random-due-to-delay inputs could effectively beat a game. Just my opinion at least.

I agree, it would have been better, but it seems that the streamer would rather just run it into the ground and be done with it.

It's unfortunate that's what it basically became, what with the timers in the Emerald and FireRed runs.
 
It's pretty crazy how long it's taking to fix this. Are all twitch IRC channels broken?

Edit: Actually he's probably asleep if he's in Australia. I know I'm able to connect to the channel via IRC.

To be fair, I guess the popularity would've declined whether the streamer waited a bit or not, so he/she thought might as well continue if it's gonna dwindle anyway.

The salty bets thing seems to be just a thing to inflate viewer count. Personally, viewer count isn't a big deal to me, and it's something only the streamer should be caring about. People shouldn't really be pining for higher numbers since internet fads come and go anyway.
 
Flareon almost swept Candice, but unfortunately her Froslass was faster and we started the battle with a half dead team, so we lost. We'll get her next time though!....after we do the puzzle again.

Hopefully she won't level before then. I have a bad feeling we're going to overwrite fire fang with smog.
 
120,46 is a safe coordinate to spam. It will select Fire Fang in battle but it won't overwrite any moves when we try to learn Smog.
 
I can definitely feel the novelty wearing off for me. I can feel the hilarity and frustration from all the fail with this ice puzzle as something that would've been far more compelling if I was watching it for the first time. All the same, I still feel attached enough to the members of the team to cheer them on and watch them in battle. Memes and lore aside, those have been the only two things in TPP that really mattered to me.
