If he's willing to do something like this I'd ban him from my site if he came. Hitbox probably wouldn't because they need the business though but yeah he's gonna lose a large part of his audience going to an also ran service.
How is that similar? The issue is that swatting is highly dangerous and illegal and this idiot used it as a joke. Seeing some fucking titties is not in the same universe.

It is a touchy subject but you don't feel you're going too far? A few months does seem appropriate since his business will take a heavy hit from it. The goal isn't to make him miserable but to show his actions have consequences. If he does something equally as stupid again then give him the perm.
I would put a joke or crappy bit about swatting below that kind of racism. This doesn't mean what he did isn't bad, it's just not bad enough to warrant him losing the majority of his income. I would put this in the same tier as pretend drunk driving IE drinking water from a vodka bottle while driving: sure, you're stupid but you shouldn't have your life drastically changed for it.
Seriously it's all an act. I follow her on twitter and in the past she's been banned from twitch for twerking on stream. She's doing it all for donations and crazily enough she gets a lot of them.

I honestly don't think a 4 month ban is going to be a drastic life changing event for this guy. No body got hurt sure, but making a joke about getting swatted as some sort of finale to your live stream likes it's supposed to be cool or funny is ridiculous.

Twitch is not her site, she didn't set the rules, they did. Is it her fault that she's in the top 5 because guys want to see her cleavage or whatever the fuck? No it's not, she's using the system as intended.
Was trick2g's prank amusing, by upsetting and tricking his followers that he may have been swatted on? No it was not. Many people have been "swatted" it's not a cute prank, it's not a "HA! Got eem!" Swatting is a serious fucking crime, because it wastes tax payers dollars, endangers innocent people and fucks around with the lives of not only the victims but the SWAT team which thinks they are gearing up for some shit that's about to go down.
Now you can say "oh well they're not a real swat team", doesn't matter. He just gave all his subscribers the bright idea to try this shit, cause "it would be so funny."

Think about you not receiving 4 months of income. Sure, he probably has some padding but you have to be fair. You can't go full grave mode over one offense. If he keeps with his dumb ways then give him the perm, denying him a second chance only screams anger and revenge.

I can see your point, I guess we'll have to wait and see what twitch says, maybe make it a new rule that if you fake something like this it results in a permaban, to keep others from thinking it's a good idea, because I can only imagine the amount of ad money he could get off the vods or youtube videos, and sympathy donations he's gotten from his fan from this stunt.

Yeah, I think a lot of the criticism against the Twitch version of "Youtube response girls" is off-base, but when you have someone who's literally been viraling 4chan and Reddit with "COME HARASS THIS BITCH" and she has zero gameplay going on it just makes Twitch look bad. Someone like Kaceytron I can respect the hustle, cause she's clearly put work into the act, but this shit is just pathetic.
For me it's setting a dangerous precedent in terms of stunts on stream. There's already enough people drinking themselves close to unconsciousness (which Twitch claims they moderate now, but good luck with that), last thing I want to see is Twitch get swamped with their version of "YO WE OUT HERE CALLING PEOPLE IN THE HOOD NIGGAS, WOAH BRO ITS JUST A PRANK BRO"

Hitbox or you can stream on YouTube. He'll probably choose one, but I don't expect him to stay with either of them after the ban is over because much of his audience won't leave Twitch, just like for many other top streamers.

Who cares? You think all the Youtubers act the way they do in their videos in real life? If that's what gets people off that's what gets people off, it in no way affects you.
People like her help the objectification of women in gaming but you know what, if she wasn't there, they'd just flock to another one, and those viewers aren't going to think highly of women either way so it doesn't matter, in the end shit's fucked for us always.
Now being annoyed that Twitch doesn't really enforce their TOU because they know that's what gets them hits? That I completely agree with.
Either way, swatting yourself is a much stupider thing, and of course the guy won't get a lifetime ban because Twitch loves that money.
