Ubi 30 - Free Ubisoft PC game every month

Yep, definitely Beyond Good & Evil. Not getting this one because I already have 4 copies, but I wonder... have they teased free games like this before? With all the BG&E2 teases, it really seems like they are using this as a buildup to something bigger...

This is fantastic. Blood Dragon? Wow. Always wanted to try it.

Hopefully they do NOT give Might and Magic 10 in December cause I bought it full price!!! :P

Is it a good game to start as for someone that hasn't touched the series before?

You should get it because it's free. But playing? Not until you at least play 2 and it's "expansions"/Brotherhood, Revelations.

3 is the low-point for the series, by many series fans metrics.

Would've preferred 2 or Syndicate, but better than nothing. I don't think I ever finished 3, so I guess this is as good an excuse as any.

I sold my 360 copy of AC3, so I will be somewhat thankful to get it again???

I'll just probably download a completed save and do some random missions if that is even possible.

thats a shitty way to end it. should have saved the crew for last, that game is actually pretty fun imo. course i dropped it once i got forza... its still a good game though

Probably. I think all the subsequent ACs used the same control scheme (which was changed in AC3). It's also a legit good game, don't listen to the haters.

Why would you ever tell someone to start with AC3 for the series and not 2 or 4?

Why not? 2 is boring as shit, 4 is a direct upgrade to 3 if you like naval combat but 3 wins in ground combat. Personally I also enjoyed Connor's story more than Edward's.

I found it the worse of the series. It lacks one of the main point of beauyt of these game: the recreation of a famous city.

Rome, Venice, Paris, London... so many fantastic recreations, and then AC3... :\

Black Flag is better even if it has the same "problem", but it is much more fun to play.

It's worth checking out. It's worse than games like AC2 and Brotherhood but it's not that much worse. I think it gets most of its bad rap because it was like the third annualized Assassin's Creed release and the fatigue was real.

Like, I hope you realize you are in the severe minority here.

If OP ends up hating the game like most people do you can't just tell him "Well guess you won't like any other ones since they're worse".
