Ubisoft E3 2014 Press Conference Thread

6/10. Rainbow Six looked cool but scripted, ACU is gonna be awesome, the Division reminds me of a I Am Legend video game. Overall it was decent, too much fitness and dancing though and racing games aren't my thing so The Crew was nothing to me.

Conceptually the game is really cool with the whole pre-mission surveillance and house destruction but why, oh why, oh WHY do they have to do these cheesy as FUCK fake team chat trailers

Lol at the yelling and screaming like they are actually saving a real hostage
What, you don't talk like that in your games?

That looked fun, but when do we get a Rainbow Six like the old ones where we get to plan everything out via map pre-mission and completely order everyone around? Where is Ding Chavez?!?!?

You have to wonder how it will work sans-horrible scripted dialog and events.

People playing without mics or by themselves joining parties will kill an otherwise good match.

I liked it. I think Ubi was a solid B+ or B. A bit too trailer heavy but it was entertaining and Ubisoft can make some great trailers. A little more gameplay and less Shape Up! would have pushed it into the A range.

This party chat was hilarious. Love the destructibility but realistically, everyone is going to go rambo and end matches way quicker than that.

That conference was pretty weak for me. Just about everything seemed targeted to the casual crowd who aren't the ones who watched and lol I agree with this dude on Twitch. I was expecting/hoping for Beyond Good and Evil 2 for the last reveal, but nope another shooter. Multiplayer? What???

B?

C at most. Far Cry 4 had a cool intro, everything in between was either CG or not very interesting, and then ended on a good note with R6 Siege.
