It's looking like, absent a finish, the only thing between us and a draw is hoping the judges are ridiculously stingy with 10-8 rounds :lol

yeah. the problem is Frankie's style doesn't seem to lend itself well to fighting from behind.

Frankie's winning the 4th. If he wins the 5th he might have it. It's a battle of cardio now and Gray's gas tank is emptying.

Wasn't that Randy? Great corner work...

Actually was pretty good advice. He was telling him to stop going for the 1 punch knockout and if he keeps beating him up the KO will eventually come.

Man, I was really hoping for him to finish of that first round KO so we could see all the prelim fights but this has turned out to be a pretty good fight.

Yeah, Frankie needs a 10-8 R5 to avoid a draw. :(

judges really want to avoid giving a draw I'd imagine, so as long as frankie doesn't obliterate him here it's gray's win

They should all never judge a fight again if they are thinking that.

does that mean we get Pettis/Frankie or an automatic rematch? I really hope its the former.

Not sure. I've enjoyed this match but yeah, I wouldn't really be dying to see a rematch.

But I almost can't imagine Dana White wouldn't pull a rematch in the event of a draw in a championship bout. Has that happened in the UFC before with a non-vacant belt?

Honestly, I have R5 looking like a 10-10 round which would give the win to Gray, 48-47.

Good thing judges don't give 10-10s.

Both those guys need to take a bow. Great fight.

Now we await the decision controversy.

I was thinking the exact same thing. I'd give the slight edge to Edgar for denying so many takedowns and punishing on the way out, he got some good knees in when separating. But that's only if I have to choose a winner for the fifth.
