I think I'm done with the MP for a while now, will probably come back to it after MW2, AC2 and Demon's Souls. My main gripe is the playlist. I don't like the whole "random" factor of the type of match you get to join. I want the ability to pick plunder only, or pistol/rpg death match when I'm bored and want to screw around.
 
Man, I really need some time to get back into this. I'm only about three-fourths of the way though the single player, and I barely scratched the surface of the MP. Damn you, midterms!
 
Flynn killed himself because he was going to die anyways. Look at this gunshot wounds. It looked like they tried to shoot him in the heart or something.

Yes, that much is certain,
he was going to die anyway, but it was Zoran Lazarevic
who gifted him with the
grenade, it's not like he took the pin off himself
. Now, all along we've known
Flynn hates Drake because of the Chloe thing
, but we also know he wasn't
Zoran's Lackey
he was just in it for the money, so I don't see him being the kind of character that would just
kill himself
. Based on his personality and the type of characted that I think NDI wanted him to be, I'd have guessed he would have rather
killed Zoran than Drake
. Although he did
shoot Drake while in the train
, so I could be wrong about that :P

I think that scene would have been better presented if
Flynn had died while holding the grenade
and released it, just like (Terminator 2 spoiler)

I still think it was not good story telling . . .
I would think he would have wanted Chloe to get revenge against Zoran.
But then again, they needed to
nearly kill Elena
. . . but that could have been done another way.

Of course, just the fact that we are interested enough in the story that we are discussing fine details of it shows that it was a good story.

Its 105 x 159 scaled to 90 x 136; max size allowed is 90 x 120. Here's a rescaled avatar:

umm, that's still going to scale too big. It horizontally scales everything to 90 pixels wide. It will scale to 90x131

I think the characters in U2 were more fleshed out and there were much heavier scenes. But U1 still had the best story to me, especially the ending.
 
Finished my first playthrough on Hard. Way behind the rest of you. Absolutely loved it. The dialog in the final cutscene
was hysterical and had me grinning from ear to ear. One a scale of one to 10 clowns are a 10?!? So awesome.
Can't wait to play again on Crushing and get deeper into multiplayer.

You and me both brother. Not that I'm going to stop playing but the playlist idea sucks in my view.

Also, I would kill someone for a no grenades deathmatch mode. Fuck.

The deathmatch variations (mostly) don't have grenades. I think just not spawning with grenades would be fine. Or maybe only spawning with grenades for your first spawn and then none thereafter.
 
Played a few more rounds tonight. I really need to start joining gaf parties. Out of the maybe 7 or 8 rounds I played, 6 of them had somebody who quit.

No. They just had everyone look over the ledge thinking he was dead, and he climbs up from somewhere else and then Indy looks over their shoulders, wondering what they were looking at.

HOLY SHIT.

So I was pretty much getting annoyed by playing with lousy ass teams (since I haven't played with GAF yet *grumble grumble*) since I always do well, but the odds of winning a game might as well as 50/50. I decide to jump into my last game for the night.

Went 23-1 on Trainwreck. Wish I had a capture device...

CrushDance is a glitching, lag camper though. Other than that, everyone seemed fine, except for Kitton and his damned grenades.
 
Got this game the other day.

Love the story but the art and amount of polish blows me away at times, they really know when to show off those big vistas.

Amazing game so far but a few stick moments really jump out in it. So far the first Stealth big and now some beefy snake pliskin lookalike on the train.

How the hell do I progress against this guy, he must be a terminator.
 
I'm half way through my Hard run, and so far I'm not finding that "hard" at all. In fact I have been dying a lot less. A lot of that is because I know what's coming. Still I expected the enemy AI to be a little smarter or at least more ruthless on the harder difficulty. So far it feels about the same. The only real difference is that it takes fewer bullets to kill me and the melee counter system is a bit mote strict. I'm thinking I should have played on hard to begin with.

EDIT..Im also playing with all the weapons I didn't use the first time around. Like the Uzi, handguns and the Shotgun. It's actually making the gameplay feel a little different which is nice. I only use an AK, or a Flail when I have too.

It's pretty retarded that you can shotgun snipers from windows pretty far away....

Then I reached him in the Crushing difficulty, and I only have one thing to say.

Search youtube. There is an easy way to kill him using a lot of melee. And you know what, I don't even consider it cheating (well, except for the fact that you get the info from someone else) since you do actually do the damage to him and kill him. Running in circles is for chumps.

Yeah, pounding with murderous rage. :P After 20 tries I caught a lucky break and beat him. I doubt I'll ever be replaying that chapter in my life.

Jett I love you but all you guys complaining about the difficulty of that fight fucking suck. If you use cover and rope a dope that bastard the fight is fricken cake.

Boss fight against Radec: Definitely worth getting upset about.
Boss fight against Lazorwhatever: Come on man

Radec is a piece of cake in comparison to Lazarabitch. I killed him in 2 tries in Elite difficulty. On Normal difficulty, I struggled to kill Laz. Took me a few tries.

Radec is easy with a surround system. you hear where he teleports. such a great battle.

No way. The build up to Radec in KZ2 is one of the hardest moments I've ever had in gaming.
Lazaravich
was a pain in the ass on crushing, but it only took me a handful of tries. However Just Radec alone isn't that bad... still way worse than UC though.

Radec himself, yes, the whole endfight though...no, never. It took me hours and hours on elite.
