How about DLC to triple the sensitivity ND? I'd pay for that coz right now your game is unplayable for me, like I'm controlling a tank in MP.
Fixed.Hopefully this is testing a new marketing approach where instead of buying everything in a game for $60 upfront you can buy the bits and pieces you want - and if you want everything it's $90.
I don't know. Really wish Eric would have done a better job explaining what this means for current/previous owners. A simple FAQ would have sufficed. What if I bought Season Pass when U3 launched but sold U3, will I get access to full multiplayer?
Fixed.
It wasn't free to play to start with so I don't see what the issue is. You had to buy the entire game before and now you don't.

Yup, pricing wasn't very good at all. Should of gone something like,Jesus buying every bit of the multiplayer cost more than just buying the game itself.
One question:
What if I activated Online Pass for U3 but i've never played it? Am I going to have level cap or not?
Download size:
How does it work if you already played the multiplayer in the main game? Does it reset you when moving to the FTP version?
I traded the game in a while back (regrettably) and still have the online pass on my console, would this affect this free download ?
If I have the disc version of Uncharted 3, can I just download the f2p version and never have to put in the disc again if I want to play online?
Well there's map packs and the co op cutscenes which I'm sure are all included in the base F2P download. With Single Player the game would probably blow up to ~40GB's, it's a dual layered game I believe.Holy shit. 4.8 gig just for the multiplayer? I'm assuming that's including the singleplayer stuff as well, which is weird since they shouldn't force you to download that unless you buy it.
Thanks for that. You guys should add it to the ND/PS blog posts. It won't affect the free download. The online pass on your console won't allow you to unlock the full MP component, you'll have to enter into the whole free-to-play structure or be capped at lv 15
So they expect you to pay more than the price of the game if you want all features? FUCKING LOL!

I have a question, the KZ3 F2P MP has a level cap too, with that, can you also continue to play for free if you don't care about leveling?
Cool, thanks.Yes, you can keep playing free once you've hit the level cap, you just won't gain levels or get any of the unlockables after lv 15.
Fixed.

EDIT: I think you read that post as being about UC3 actually, never mind.
Arne my question didn't get answered, what if I bought the season pass but don't have the disk anymore. Do I have access to the full multiplayer without cap.
Indeed, I didn't mean to ask any specific person, this thread just reminded me.Oh yes, I don't know for KZ3. Why would I know what KZ3 does?!![]()
It's not up yet. It'll go up later today when the store is updated.where do i find the download guys? not seein it on the store under uncharted 3.
They answered this in the Joystiq interview. You can keep playing and if you decide later on to purchase the lv cap unlock you'll automatically lv up to your real lv.Hey arne, can you still play the game if you reach the level 15 cap? I'd assume so but I'm just curious.
Xav De Matos said:Naughty Dog's concept of free-to-play tries to make the most of the time and effort players put into the game, retroactively rewarding players that surpass the free-to-play level cap if they decide to purchase a the level cap remover.
"The interesting thing that we're doing with the free-to-play is: say you're at level fifteen and you've accumulated hours and hours of experience points; once you actually purchase the rank unlock – the level cap removal – your rank automatically hits the level that you would be at with the playtime you've invested," Cogburn told us.

Am I correct in thinking they ruined UC2's multiplayer with 3's?
isnt that what some ftp mmos have been doing?
really don't know, but this sounds familiar
