Show the game running on the Playstation 4, not some prerendered footage then. There was no massive downgrade, because the original footage was never running on a PS4. Whenever they showed it after, it was running on an actual PS4.
If we give Naughty Dog a pass, developers will keep pulling this silliness with the masses of gamers who don't understand graphics. And they are. This in engine, in game, garbage is also being pulled with the Battlefield One footage. Masses of people are liking a video that is not even based on gameplay, which means they are being misled. The assets are from the game but the lighting is being computed offline and the dressed up as game footage when the actual game is not going to look like that because global illumination will never be calculated in real time. If you render it off line using the engine there are no limits as to how many lights a scene can have which allows you to approximate global illumination. In realtime, you limited by how many lights you can place in a scene. Sorry, I don't care how good Uncharted 4 turned out, developers need to stop this.
