Uncharted 4 multiplayer will run at 900p / 60fps

Uncharted 4's multiplayer will run at 60fps, with the resolution taking a slight hit to 900p - which contrasts with the single-player, which is hitting 1080p resolution and will be 30fps.
During a presentation following Sony's Paris Games Week show, Naughty Dog confirmed that multiplayer would be 60fps as it went into details on the mode, which introduces new magical elements and a more complex, varied brand of competitive play. We'll have more on Sony's slate in the not too distant future.

Perfect! Both Uncharted's and TLOU's multiplayers where on the verge of being truly special. Let's hope 3rd time's a charm!

This is the worst day of my life.

More like Unacceptable 4: A Resolution's End.

I am so furious I inadvertently struck my child. They're not hurt, but they won't speak to me. NOTghy Dog has ruined my family.

It's multiplayer. Why not cut down other details and settings before messing with resolution? Visibility is key in multiplayer, man. Every pixel matters when you think you see some guy in the far distance.

I HATED how jarring Gears 1 HD was going between SP and MP. Adding in the resolution reduction is not going to help that. Just make it 30fps ffs.

Would have preferred consistency across the board. Isn't that a little jarring to jump between 30fps single player and 60fps multiplayer?

Whilst not ideal, as long as it looks great and has nice big open maps, that's fine by me. Guessing this is to keep the visuals more consistent with the SP, whilst holding the higher 60fps.

I was checking the official screenshots and all of them were 900p. I was wondering if this was the actual resolution and it has turned out to be the case. Color me disappointed although 60 fps will be good thing to have in MP.

It's too bad they couldn't hit 60fps with this compromise on single-player. Framerate is king. I actually wonder what's the average framerate at 900p on SP. Maybe ND could implement a secret framerate unlimiter code. :P
