Mods can't tell if you have viewed a thread before, plus it doesn't matter that shit is on YouTube so it isn't like anyone can prove you did or did not view a video beforehand.

It is just crazy to most that you "accidentally" found that glitch. The way you were playing is not how people play games.

That isn't proof and you said you can prove it. It seems highly unlikely that you discovered that glitch your fist time through, as you'd have to be incredibly stupid and/or bad at following directions to immediately go in the direction opposite from the one the camera is pointing, all while jumping, taking cover for no reason and pointing your gun at absolutely no one. That there was just a cutscene detailing the reason that elevator is not the way to go supports my position. I also find it curious that you included the minute or so you spent in the menus, as if to say, "Oh look, here's proof that this is my first time playing. Because you totally can't fake that."

People test buttons, yes. They don't spastically go in the opposite direction from the one common sense (and the game, via explicit directions) tells them to go and immediately start completing the actions that are known to initiate a glitch. You're incapable of being sly, so just stop.

That is not really an accurate way to describe your actions. What you did can only be described as spamming buttons while deliberately pushing your character into a wall, which is common behavior to attempt to brute force your way past level geometry.

OMG out of context the glitch had already happen to me before I had gone inside the elevator, after that I already mentioned I knew I had triggered some kinda glitch, I didn't think I would go through the wall.

Why is the girl not inside the elevator tho?

The cutscene always triggers. I have no idea what was happening in your ps4 but I imagine hilarity ensued.

Actually, you are supposed to go this way, but when you reach the edge you must go up. As stated in the conversation between the characters. Also when you reach the zip line, you are prompted to press triangle and not cross.

BTW this a video from a friends you tube channel, guess we know why Chloe is not in U4! ;)
 
Why is anyone giving this guy the time of day? I generally give people the benefit of the doubt, but he's obviously taking the piss.

Lol, this is the "very first 3 minutes" of you "playing the game" and figuring out what the buttons do? Why the hell where you over there rolling against the elevator for 2 minutes when the screen is telling you to use the L Stick to move around?


If you are really trying the buttons out, why are you trying them all out at the same time within 1 foot of the elevator when you have that whole hallway to "try out the buttons?"


I cannot believe someone would play a game like the way you were playing it, record it, then share the video saying there is some problem with the game. It's beyond comical.
 
I'm confused. A glitch exists. But why does that matter exactly? Are glitches... not supposed to exist or something?

It seems like a harmless glitch to me.
 
I played about 2.5 hours of Drake's Fortune the other day and it was great, outside of a bit of pop-in. I love that game, and it and Uncharted 2 are my favourites from that series.

I haven't been feeling well or up to much, though, so I haven't played any since and need to get my ass in gear. I want to get a review up.

I promise that was the very first time I touched the game.

Note: I was testing the buttons and trying to rescue the girl at the same time.
The rest is just a glitch and I realized it right away (had to restart the game)
I didn't like the gameplay, damn helicopter is so scripted to die after she forces you to jump on wood platforms, not even a direct grenade hit could take her down.
Youtube comments are obviously from Neogaf, calling me bad words and all....SMH.
