Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection | Review Thread

I want to get this...and DQH but i want to see DQH reviews first as i have never played a Dynasty Warriors type game. On the bus now but tempted to get it when i get home...

Pretty hyped for this, since I've never played the series (was PC only last gen).
 
Is there any word on if they've de-sponged the bullet-sponge enemies from U3? One of the few reasons I'm dreading going back to that game.
 
I just had this in my hands at a shop but i didn't buy it. What's wrong with me...? One of my favourite franchises. I guess i feel i played these games a lot already and i'm not sure going through it once more will still provide that same amount of fun and discovery (i know 1&2 by heart).

To clarify I was referring to 60fps 1080p as an example in parentheses in the case of the Uncharted collection.

None of this graphics stuff had anything to do with my point though so way to miss it.

What is this video supposed to show? That you can glitch the game to your disadvantage?

What the hell even did I just watch. Like were you trying to get accustomed to the controls or.....? Because I'm just kind of........there's no way some one can play that badly.

It's the very first time I touched the game.
I was trying to rescue her, the game is so scripted that I ended up getting myself in glitch situations or simply dying for shooting the helicopter when I was no supposed to I guess.

Later during that demo I got all they way to the top of the roof and there was the zip line I killed myself trying to time my jump , just to find out that I needed to go through the swimming pool area in order to get the NPC girl to trigger the cinematic.

Maybe it's just the demo I have no idea, but besides that the game play it's nothing great,
the meele feels scripted. I dunno just didn't feel it.

99% of players out there would not get themselves into that situation that you posted...and dying from the helicopter isn't a glitch.

Did you even whatever the cinematic before the demo started? Even if you didn't, in what world would you start a level by going backwards and actively attempting to glitch through a door instead of walling forward into the obviously designed area?

If the power is out in the elevator and the objective is to turn the power on to get her out, why the heck are you trying to get back into the elevator doors? It makes no sense. Can't blame the game for your own mistake.

Played today couple of hours of Drake's Fortune, which is my least favorite of the trilogy and had so much fun. First of all great to see the whole gang again and the dialogue still brings a smile to my face. The game plays smoothly, the 60 fps really feels natural and I think the gunplay is improved. The graphics looks a lot better than I remembered. I really had a great first impressions with the collection and I think they did a great job with the remaster. Can't wait to play the second and third after enjoying the beginning of the first so much.

I must say, it is amazing that you can exploit a bug even this is your this time playing.
 
I loved these games back in the day but kinda worried about them not holding up. I mean, dat contrast between the lighthearted/jokey dialogue and the gameplay where you shoot hundreds and hundreds of dudes to death is so weird, lol.
