Unexpected funny moment in video games

I didn't. It wasn't a masterful piece of cinema but it was still something better then what Gears usually offers.

I bought it and just can't bring myself to play it. I can't take the game seriously with those stupid faces. The moronic AI doesn't help either.
 
The "fellicitate me" scene in Dragon Age 2 caught me by surprise and Isabela made it funnier with her response. There's a youtube of it but be advised that it's NSFW.
 
Randomly generated conversation dialogue between A.I. pedestrians in GTA San Andreas. e.g.:

Street hood: "Yo, you ever smoke rock?"
Japanese tourist: "Hai."
 
Regarding that Gears of War 2 scene, it was incredibly hilarious to me and a friend of mine for a very different reason.

During the preceding battle we had stuck a couple of shields into the ground to give us some cover. It turned out that we stuck one almost exactly where the cutscene takes place. So when the cutscene started we spent pretty much the entire time watching Dom hug and cry into this shield, making the whole thing hysterical.

Anyway, my addition to this thread is the final boss fight with Mysterio from Spider-Man 2. Still one of my favorite games from the last gen.

A lot of the lines you hear from Drake during the game are ad-libbed by Nolan while he's watching someone play through.
 
The whole No More Heroes franchise is a whole laugh fest, especially the second one. The devs manage to outdo themselves every fucking cutscene.

Practically the whole Bully game is full of unexpected and random funny stuff, special mention for the mission the PE teacher gives you that is about
infiltrating in the girl's dorm to steal panties

Any Animal Crossing game when you teach your neighbours some words with potential innuendos. Can get very hilarious with some conversations and events.
 
This is why I play The Sims. Some times it just does something completely unexpected and funny.

Latest example: A Sim was holding a birthday party as she was becoming a child. All the family friends were invited, but just as the birthday cake was to be cut, one of the elderly Sims died from old age, complete with dramatic music and a visit from the Grim Reaper. Now if there's one constant in The Sims 3, it's that EVERYONE loves birthday cake. It's nigh-impossible to keep any Sims from rushing the cake after another Sim advances an age. Amusingly, this includes the Grim Reaper. So after Grim had ushered the neighbor to the afterlife, he grabbed a slice of cake and sat down next to the birthday girl for a little chat.

It's moments like that that keep me coming back to that game.
 
Some of the dialogue in Enslaved was pretty funny. Same with Uncharted 2, the 'There's a guy above you! There's a guy above you! There's a guy below you! There's a guy below you!' line cracked me up

Lol, using cheats, I ended up playing "Excitebike" off of the tallest buildings in the game. When doing a backflip off the building, sometimes he'll keep his helmet on. A few times, I actually landed right on my head and took some red screen but survived. Again, landing on my head...

Moral of the story: helmets save lives. Wear one.
 
Pushing an NPC in GTA 4 when a cop is near, but not close enough to bust me. I then let the NPC chase me, stand in front of the cop car and let the NPC get a punch in. This has led to some of the funniest moments as it is never the same. One guy will run, another will fight back, others will get grilled by the police for having too many credit cards...it is hilarious.

It's stuck with some dude talking, but it's the only clip I could find on Youtube where it was just that part. Most of FFX-2 is unintentionally or even intentionally hilarious, but when this super low quality version of Rikku pops up, I was in tears from both horror and laughter.

Yesterday my brother was playing Uncharted and for whatever reason he's getting way more glitches than I did. He was walking around after a firefight looking for stuff when we found a rock on the stairs rotating by itself. Almost like weapons or health packs might in an old FPS.
 
I didn't find the Maria scene from GeoW 2 to be any worse than usual video game cutscenes. In fact, I found the weird heads of the male GeoW characters to be the worst thing about that cutscene, it's like they have no neck, and their heads are all square-like compared to what a normal human being's head would be.

Also, 'look at all dat JUICE!' was a far more ridiculous cutscene
 
For unexpected I'd pick this one scene from the otherwise terribly written Legend of Heroes 3:

The main cast is talking over an elaborate plan to get past this one guard.

*Dog walks by*

Guard: Oh doggy, here doggy!

*Wanders off, group walks in*
 
L.A. Noire Interrogations.

Let me Paraphrase 1.

"I'm so sorry but your mother was murdered I'm going to need you to answer some questions little girl, can you do that for me?"

*wimpers yes*

"WHERE THE FUCK WERE YOU AT MIDNIGHT ON THE 8TH. ANSWER ME BITCH."
