Yeah, balanced in some way, but not close to "almost" 50/50. According to this year old data, it should be around like this : PS4 49%, Xbone 39%, Switch 12%

3-4 mil units in a calendar year in the NA market seems pretty poor, and bear in mind the "launch aligned figures" cannot be full totals for sales of Xbox and PS4 for obvious reasons.

According to some estimates Xbox was at 50 million at Nov 2019.
I think alot of scorned Xbox fans are coming home, meaning people who were 360 owners but went PS4 after the bullshit MS pulled at launch. I'm one.

Xbox doing well in the markets it matters most. US, UK, Canada, AUS & NZ. Countries with the expendable to spend on services and subscriptions which makes the company money. No one cares if you buy a console and buy FIFA every year and that’s it, it doesn’t nothing for the ecosystem.

I said some estimates have put the Xbox One at 50 million. I was taken to task, so I showed the article of their estimate.
That's it. I couldn't care if they have sold 45, 50, or 55 million.
It does seem however very important for you to prove the lowest estimate to be true.
I think there is a little projection going on with you.

Surely it's important to you too.

Sure Turtle Beach, a gaming accessory manufacturer for X1, PS4, Switch, PC etc. is global market analyst. Get your straight up. At least use some logic., otherwise you wouldn't use Turtle Beach data. If there is some data with 60 mil. Xbones, surely you would use that data.

I don't think permanent price drop alone is enough, the need to give away a few of free games in order to soften the drop in this year like the last BF deal with 3 free games for every PS4 at $199.

Estimates is plural and you only given one from Turtle Beach, of which we've no idea of what their methodology is.

is way off with his data. Xbone IS NOT UP YOY IN 2019 compared to 2018. And MS's previous 4-5 quarter reports implied HEAVY Xbone sales drop. There is no other way around. EOD

Honestly I think Nintendo needs to get to that $100-150 price point b.a.m.n.

3DS fills a market niche and needs to be replaced. Do you think there will be a Switch Pro to supersede the main console someday?
