Can You Imagine What SureAI Is Going To Do With Garfield?
Do you know how long that process takes? Then they can apply for unemployment.
Do you know how long that process takes? Then they can apply for unemployment.
So why have a payroll tax cut? Then they can apply for unemployment.
I have about $600 or so taken out by the federal government per paycheck. If they did the payroll tax cut that Trump proposed, it would give me that $600 per paycheck. Seeing as I'm paid twice per month - that's an extra $1200 per month that I could have in my pocket. We're in March so if we assume the rest of the year - that's an extra $10800 in my pocket. So why have a payroll tax cut?
So, it’s only for currently employed people? What about people with disabilities?
Uh, what? I've been reading T_D and in the two main discords - everyone thinks this is fucking stupid. Stop spreading false information. What’s funny to me is to see all the Trump supporters that were making fun of Mitt Romney about a week ago now embracing this.
Hardly. Surprised Trump is even doing this.Haha such a typically American way of handling this.
Haha such a typically American way of handling this.
Lol I'm below poverty line lol.
So it's not every person bur every household. If so I still won't see a dime.
No, it is usually established businesses and entrepreneurs that get a break to spark the economy during a financial downturn. This crisis is different and the response is unheard of.Haha such a typically American way of handling this.
That is not going to happen but I'll sure as hell take it if it does.
That is not going to happen but I'll sure as hell take it if it does.
Edit: that's a joke if I have ever seen one.
Trolled.
i've done unemployment before. it takes weeks to hear back after you go in and apply. then more weeks before you see your first check/deposit.
then in order to keep it, unemployment requires you to go job searching and turn in your proof bi weekly. nobody is going to be able to even look for jobs if all the businesses are closed.
How does that help with the issue that people are being laid off because of the coronavirus? I would be better off if I didn't have to pay payroll tax vs a 1k check right now, but what if I lost my job? The whole point of relief is to help those who are getting royally screwed in the current pandemic not to help out with those who are gonna be ok.I have about $600 or so taken out by the federal government per paycheck. I don't qualify for the Trump bux unfortunately. It's only for people currently employed who are laid off or just let go from their job.Hey man you never know. Look at how Trump is doing shit you wouldnt think of him even considering 6 months ago. Something is going to have to happen to support citizens out of work. I hope something works out for you man, stay strong.
I mean that's up to the states and unemployment. That's not something the federal government should be stepping in to help on.How does that help with the issue that people are being laid off because of the coronavirus? Wonder if this counts as income like the old Bush one did (I think it was Bush?). They tax you on the money that you already paid with taxes that they're giving back to you.
IMO a global pandemic is one of those Biblical level situations where the use of a federal government to protect it's citizens is kind of a valid thing. i mean where do u think the states are getting most of their money from?I mean that's up to the states and unemployment. That's not something the federal government should be stepping in to help on.
Commie-haters can rest easy cuz this isn't even socialism lolgot a chuckle outta this
Then they can apply for unemployment.
I can tell you’ve never received unemployment because I have and the form can be filled out online and they respond within 2 - 7 days. Then get the coronavirus from standing in line? no thanks.
I don’t know a single Trump supporter who likes it. I’m active on T_D and in their discords and it’s pretty unanimous so far that it is stupid. But go ahead and keep smoking that Dem crack pipe.Commie-haters can rest easy cuz this isn't even socialism lol
I have been laid off many times before , most recent was 2009, I'm just old and the last time it happened we couldn't do it online.I can tell you’ve never received unemployment because I have and the form can be filled out online and they respond within 2 - 7 days.
Just like pegging isn’t gay if the pegger is a woman, a stimulus check isn’t socialism if the system is capitalist.Commie-haters can rest easy cuz this isn't even socialism lol
Fair enough. Yeah, things have changed drastically since 2009! Layoffs suck for sure.I have been laid off many times before , most recent was 2009, I'm just old and the last time it happened we couldn't do it online.
Yup the really poor people like me ain't gonna see shit.nvrmind
tax payer is currently working or laid off
Man they might cancel operations next week for me :/
Saying they don’t like it is one thing, but I wonder if they’ll all tear up their checks if they get one ...I don’t know a single Trump supporter who likes it. I’m active on T_D and in their discords and it’s pretty unanimous so far that it is stupid. But go ahead and keep smoking that Dem crack pipe.
That is on them. I’ve voiced what I was going to do - return the check (or just not deposit it). If they choose not to accept it or they direct deposit it into my account then I’ll just begrudgingly toss it into savings.Saying they don’t like it is one thing, but I wonder if they’ll all tear up their checks if they get one ...
Every Trump supporter and libertarian will gladly take and use it.Saying they don’t like it is one thing, but I wonder if they’ll all tear up their checks if they get one ...
You don’t speak for any of us. So don’t act like you know what anyone will do with it.Every Trump supporter and libertarian will gladly take and use it.
So, it’s only for currently employed people? What about people with disabilities?
"Or I'll toss into savings."You don’t speak for any of us. So don’t act like you know what anyone will do with it.
I was gonna start a new job next week but now due to all this I might not. Yay!Yup the really poor people like me ain't gonna see shit.
Also love how he's giving it to people currently working but not out of work (not laid off currently but out of work for awhile) and more in need.
It's definitely on each individual. It's just like many people are all for increasing the number of refugees accepted into a country until they personally are affected/have to contribute, I'd say it may well be the same for many who publicly state that they are against such handouts. Saying you oppose them is one thing, but when business is tough and a $1,000 check comes in the mail, ideology might take a backseat to your wife being able to go to the grocery store and do the shopping for the family. That is on them. I’ve voiced what I was going to do - return the check (or just not deposit it). If they choose not to accept it or they direct deposit it into my account then I’ll just begrudgingly toss it into savings.
Damn sorry. That sucks. Best of luck to you.I was gonna start a new job next week but now due to all this I might not. Yay!
That's actually a pretty good idea. Child's Play would be a really good one to donate to."Or I'll toss into savings."
Why not donate it to charity, huh?
OK? I know several Trump supporters who do like it. Have fun with the group think if that's your thing.don’t know a single Trump supporter who likes it. I’m active on T_D and in their discords and it’s pretty unanimous so far that it is stupid.
lol what? But go ahead and keep smoking that Dem crack pipe.
Lol I'm below poverty line lol.
So it's not every person bur every household. If so I still won't see a dime.
I'm not surprised die-hard Trump supporters don't understand why this is important for the economy.I don’t know a single Trump supporter who likes it. I’m active on T_D and in their discords and it’s pretty unanimous so far that it is stupid. But go ahead and keep smoking that Dem crack pipe.
In other words I won't be getting it.It's every person that at least filed taxes last year... Or something like that. Not just households. Every adult making under $65k
