Are her feet touching ?! Isn't that like a requirement for the gap? You people keep posting pictures of girls with gaps but we don't see the legs. This thread is about woman that do not want the legs to touch when you put your feet together. That different then toned legs that have a gap while walking.

People are douchebags, I don't know if there's much you can extrapolate besides that. There was so much people are teased and taunted for during high school, it's a weird time but things usually disappear after that. Kids are mean.
 
I have a thigh gap...because I'm bowlegged. How did I miss something I used to get teased about as a kid turn into something considered desirable or sexy?

A good portion, yes, but I've seen many posts by girls of how they wished they had a thigh gap, or by straight guys who are obsessed with them.

It's funny, in Asia, there's no "she's so skinny she has a gap between her thighs," it's "she's so fat you can't even see between her thighs" that's the rare one.
 
Another day, another part of the woman's body has to appear as "fuckable" as possible according to our culture.

A bit of depression, eating disorders, lowered self-esteem... are all small prices to pay for showing men more taint, cameltoes, or more open access to the vagina. Just another one in the list of traits of an ideal fuck object.

Yeah, I mean if they get it naturally through (good) diet and exercise, nice, if not, sorry you're just not built for it. Dieting down to to look like you just walked out of Buchenwald is just bad for you.


I wish I was a little bit taller but I'm not hanging myself upside down, or wearing those god awful lifts to achieve it. It is what it is. :P

I totally thought this was going to be about girls with thick legs but still has that small gap between the bulge of their vagina and that small area before the thighs touch. I googled thigh gap and was like...oh. Personally I would never push any female that wasn't naturally that small to go for it, and at the same time I'm not going to damn any female who is that small. If I met one who was striving for that look, it's her decision and hers alone.

Also, spoon gap is the best gap.
 
Leave it to GAF to turn a thread about girls' self esteem/body image issues into a picspam and discussion about how fuckable certain body types are.
 
I really don't find "stick thin" attractive. I like a flat tummy but once you get twig arms and stick legs you've gone too far.
 
I thought this thigh gap stuff was sensationalism, then one of my younger friends started talking about how upset she was that she didn't have one and that she couldn't get it no matter how hard she tried.

Her talk kind of freaked me out to be honest. I think I set her straight, but still.

Why do you need to set her straight?

Wanting to lose weight and be slim doesn't mean you're anorexic. If she can lose weight in a healthy way why can't she look how she wants?

I don't know. There were a large portions of girls at that link that just don't look healthy to me. Some looked pretty natural and healthy while having what is being referred to as "thigh gap", but many looked malnourished.
 
Thigh gaps can be sexy, but there are tons of other sexy traits too. Why some people obsess over a few is always insane to me.
